LaunchBoom's system works if you actually follow it. They guided me through building a pre-launch audience, running ads, testing messaging, and creating a VIP group that was excited and ready to support the campaign on day one.The team was helpful and responsive the whole way through. I also really liked being part of their founder community. It was great having a place to ask questions, share challenges, get honest feedback, and learn from other entrepreneurs going through the same process. The weekly ad review calls were super useful too.If you are serious about launching on Kickstarter, I definitely recommend working with LaunchBoom. Just make sure you understand your unit economics before you launch (not just product cost, but things like tooling, shipping, marketing, etc). That part is on you, and it matters a lot. Combine that with their playbook and you’ll put yourself in a great position to succeed.
Was considering using their service and planned on setting a meeting next week as we don't work weekends. Over the weekend I received three emails, which is excessive, the last of which asking if I was even serious about my project. Very disrespectful. Will not be using this service.
After ten years as an industrial designer dreaming about launching a Kickstarter, I finally had the roadmap I needed with LaunchBoom. The skills were always there... The strategy wasn't.SeatMate's two campaigns raised over $750k total, but the real education came from comparing approaches. Campaign one: followed LaunchBoom's process systematically, strong results. Campaign two: went rogue, and saw a weaker performance. You can decide what that means. The support level sets them apart. When we hit technical MailChimp issues that were over our heads, Mike (their CTO) jumped in personally to solve them.Soren was our tactical advisor throughout, providing sharp guidance on calls and in their message board whenever we needed direction.Justin deserves special mention for his advertising expertise and campaign strategy support. His tactical advice on ads was consistently on-point, backed by real testing data rather than theory. What really stood out was when he met with us the day before our first launch—walking through everything one final time and reassuring us that we were ready to go. Having that expert validation right before hitting "launch" was invaluable for our confidence.Here's the reality: Kickstarter campaigns require serious work from you. The content creation, product development, fulfillment planning there is a lot that you'll need to do in order to launch a product and run an e-commerce business. But without knowing exactly where to channel that effort, you'll waste 10x the time fumbling around different tactics and strategies. LaunchBoom removes the guesswork and gives you a proven playbook to follow. I committed to their process completely, and it delivered. Very expensive. Good sales team. Friendly. Until you sign up and need them. Their whole approach is nothing but a course you can buy online at a 5th of the price, and get for free if you put in the efforts. Like many others stated, when you are in, you'll notice very quickly that while they lure you in with success stories, under 10-20% of the campaigns they work with, succeed. Most do not. Like us, you have a massive chance your campaign will fail and it's never their fault, but always the product or customer. Then, why work with us in the first place?
wanted to share some of our positive experience in working with launchboomTLDR: they were fantastic partners and we couldnt have done a successful kickstarter without them as first time crowdfunding newbiesour whole rationale was that we didn't know how to play the game, so we needed a partner to help us do this. and launchboom was the best agency/consultant/partner or whatever you want to call them that actually had a super strong pedigree in kitchenware and tons of solid reviews. we also really liked their sales process - proper discovery phase, qualification for fit, etc - they only work w projects they think theyll be successful at (which is about 5-10% of their leads).- launchboom helped us set up the VIP reservation funnel with their team (accelerator program)- we asked tons of questions on top of their normal curriculum and bc we're half way across the world it was always on email- in 2.5mo we acquired 10k emails, and 1.9k VIP reservations for Piper- within first 48h of our 2nd campaign (with our VIP list), we hit over $100k USD raised- most of the backers are VIPs from this pre launch process- in total we had 1800+ backerswe recently did a post campaign analysis and the LB investment was the only thing that we classified as "outstanding value"... not mediocre or negative valuei think LB has an awesome methodology and framework to go off of for any crowdfunding creator bc the signals you get from the market before you launch will automatically tell you if youre ready or not
Nobody will care about your project as much as you do, but I think the exception there is LaunchBoom. Every step of the way I felt immense support. They set me up for success in so many ways, ways that I could have never fathomed. Projects like the one that I took on are riddled with land mines and pitfalls and LaunchBoom helped me deftly avoid them, prepare everything for success, and ultimately help me ensure that my project found its audience and was successful.
We just wrapped a $450K Kickstarter campaign, and LaunchBoom was a huge part of that success. Their system is nothing "magical" and seems fairly obvious in hindsight, but to an outsider / technical team like ours, it saved us SO MUCH TIME (templates, etc.) in knowing where to focus. We really appreciated the 3x/wk office hours, and the on-demand email support. I especially appreciated that they didn’t oversell: if something wasn’t proven or predictable, they said so. Big thanks to Justin in particular; his advice (ads mostly) was sharp, fast, and grounded in real-world testing. Yes, it’s an investment. But if you’re willing to do the work and follow the process, LaunchBoom gives you a serious edge. We’ll work with them again for future product launches.
As a first-time publisher, I can confidently say our Kickstarter campaign for Whisker Wars wouldn’t have reached the same level of success without LaunchBoom’s help.From day one, their prelaunch checklist and video course gave us a clear roadmap. While we did not get "live support" with our package, it may as well have been with how prompt the team is with responding. That said, you MUST ask questions to get the support you need, and have to be open to the feedback they provide.
