I AM WRITING TO SAY DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY LIFE STRAW! I ORDERED MY ITEM OVER A MONTH AGO. STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMBER. NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT TO ME. I HAVE PUT IN MULTIPLE EMAILS WITH “customer service”REGARDING NOT RECEIVING MY ITEM, STILL NOTHING! I WANT MY MONEY BACK! DO NOT SHOP WITH LIFESTRAW BECAUSE THERE IS ZERO CUSTMER SERVICE...NONE AT ALL! THEY DO NOT CARE AT ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT AN ORDER PLEASE THINK AGAIN AND DO NOT KEEP THIS COMPANY IN BUSINESS RIPPING OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS! ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE PAYING OVER 60 DOLLARS FOR A WATWR BOTTLE! Makes water disgusting

Bought an $80 water bottle, water tastes heavily like chemicals and plastic even after consuming over 10 litres of water bottle. Does not clean water well enough for travel, and water tastes way worse than out of a disposable plastic water bottle. Complete waste of money, just a marketing scam as far as I can tell.

replacement filter sold unsealed and used and returned and resold

I have ordered Three different replacement filters for my collapsible bottle. All three of them have come unsealed and dirty where someone else has returned them and they resell them. How can you trust a company that supposedly sells something to sterilize water when it comes to you unsealed and used with dirt and grime around it. Unsanitary and untrustworthy. Why don't they seal them in secure packaging or have at least a safety seal on the package so you know if it's been opened or not, it's absolutely ridiculous.

I want to warn people not to purchase…

I want to warn people not to purchase anything from Life Straw (also operating as Vestergaard Frandsen. I ordered the products from Venmo on their website, received no product, no confirmation of the transaction and after 7 emails back and forth with customer service was told basically go to my bank and try to work out the transaction with them--and have a nice day. Minimally this company should try to get their technology right. I'm out $185 and now have to wrangle with the bank.

I truly doubt the product Mission

I truly doubt the product Mission, as I testede it, and found a higher PPM, after the cleaning..Makes no sense at all..!! dont get any true reply to this fact from the company..!!

Mine stopped working in few weeks

Mine stopped working in few weeks, filtered approx 30 liters with it. After few use it started to taste horrible, on their website they just offer home remedies (clean with bleach...) I met several backpackers and they have very similar experiences. On the road I don't have access to freeze it or bleach it.They don't reply on mails either. Don't buy from them if you are going on a long trip.

Excellent company

Excellent company, I have bought 3 of their travel taps all of which work brilliantly. I have used them on long trips through sub saharan Africa and never had any issues despite using the bottles to filter dodgy tap and river water.IN particular, I rate this company because, when I had a problem with one of the seals, they immediately sent me a replacement with no fuss at allI wish every company cared as much about their products as this oneThanks

My attempt to engage with LifeStraw's customer support has been thoroughly disappointing, leading me to question their commitment to customer satisfaction and product transparency. I recently sent a detailed enquiry about the LifeStraw Home Glass Pitcher, a product I was considering due to its potential in filtering out microplastics and nanoplastics from drinking water—a concern that is becoming increasingly significant in light of recent studies.In my email, I requested specific information regarding the filtration capabilities of this pitcher, particularly its effectiveness against microplastics and nanoplastics. Understanding the percentage of microplastics it could remove and the smallest size of particles it could filter out, measured in microns, was crucial for me to make an informed decision about the safety and purity of the water my family and I consume daily.Regrettably, my request for this essential information has been met with silence. This lack of response from LifeStraw not only impedes my ability to choose a product that meets my family's needs but also diminishes my trust in LifeStraw as a brand that values its customers and their concerns about water quality.The decision to invest in a water filtration system is significant, driven by the need to protect the health of one's family from emerging threats like microplastics and nanoplastics. Do not trust the official Lifestraw website

Ordered a replacement Lifestraw on the official website with express delivery, because I was leaving for a trip. Not only did they miss the promised delivery date, they actually never confirmed the shipment of my product and it was never delivered. I have contacted them many times through e-mail and through the contact form on their website, but never got a response. After months I contacted my bank and they issued a refund, to which Lifestraw responded by charging my credit card again. Luckily my bank reissued a refund, because they couldn't show a proof of shipment - probably because they never shipped.It baffles me that a brand like this fails to deliver goods and doesn't respond to any messages, but then suddenly reacts when a refund is issued. I am very disappointed.
