Was really stuck trying to find a place for work and was constantly given the run around by other estate agents. Called Lifestyle up to look for a property this morning at 9am - by 10am the holding fee was paid and I finally have a place!Huge thanks to Lee who was really friendly and helpful too!
They have a terrible customer service. And my landlord, who is the owner of the company, just riddicoulus.One of them met with my partners dick, when I wrote them several time to not come that day for the inspection, ecause my partner sleeping after nightshift. Imagine you are naked in your own bed, and you wake up for a stranger stending in the bedroom and staring to your dick. Pleasent feeling.They usually not paid attention what I am writging to them. My raw frozen dog foodaccidentaly went to my previous address. The company did not know why as I changed my address. The DPD driver did not read any notes. I asked them to leave with my next door neighbour, who was waiting for the box. But they left in front of the house. The flat neighbour thauth that is mine and bring in the porch. Met with the contractor, and told him to leave the box there. The contractor brang in the house and locked my raw frozendog food in the house.... I wrote this story with these details. What the agency write back: " Without sounding rude, had you of changed your deliver address this would not have happened." They never read what I wrote to them...Now, the landlord think he can still my deposit and doing fals problems. Like he wanted me to put back the wrong washing machine, what he did not fixed. We did. Now he want £58 to removal it. What the F. He bought a heater with short cable, set up with that way. They have photoes about it. Now he want me to pay for cord change. What the fWhen the contractor build a new bathroom he scratched the bath cover panel, what is on the photos. He want me to pay the change of all bath the cover, the cabin. He also used wetwalls, the cheapest from everything and did not matched the big and the small panel in colour, what they can see on the photoes. 2 big panel for £49 each and 2 small different panel for £24. Now he want to chanfe because of the discolofation. He want to buy wetwalls for £600 and want me to pay for it. What the F.. After 5 years of tenancy and 2 waterleak from top, he want me to pay the redecoration of the house. Etc.Now I can understand how they can come to visit with Tesla... stealing tenant money and using the cheapest material and the cheapest contractor with rubish work. If you have choice, just not choose them. You can find better agency, try the Ocean. They are amazing.
You can't have visits after 11pm. You will have unannounced visits and inspections to your room. They contract the cheapest and crappiest cleaners, gardeners and maintenance to deal with your property. They will find any excuse to take your deposit away from you. Read the housing act very carefully before you sign with these people because you will need to know how to fight then at the end of your tenancy.
We are currently using Lifestyle to rent a property. Lee and Liam in the lettings department have been fantastic. They have done viewing on three properties with us and they have done everything they can to find us the right property, which we now have! Would highly recommend their service to anybody.
