The goods I received were exactly as expected at a fair price.I might have broken the habits of a lifetime and gone to 5 stars - for speed as well but, through no fault of Lighting Direct there was a glitch with delivery. That was corrected fairly rapidly.
The track lighting received is of very poor quality. One of the lights is defective.The company did respond and will replace one of the lights.I disagree, the light head units are cheap Chinese junk.I have an equal number of positive and negative reviews, which equates to negative reviews being deserved.I received the replacement light today and note that the design of the light has been changed. This is probably because the previous design was defective and why I had an issue with the light. Now I still have two lights with the previous design.Let's discuss the defect of the light, which is the plastic thread that holds the light head to the track fitting mechanism, This thread is cheap plastic and barely has any threads on it to begin with. For someone that may need to change the direct of light, I would highly discourage them from buying this product. It will inevitably break in time.I tried to repair the light by opening up the housing. And the metal nut had come undone, mostly because the plastic threads were stripped. Generally speaking engineering a metal nut to mate to cheap plastic threads is not a good idea, metal to metal and plastic to plastic is best.In summary, this is a cheap built light. If that's what someone is after then great, it will fit the bill.I have organised the return of the light at my expense so you can see for yourself the issue with it and the fact that it poorly manufactured.
As other reviews mentioned these Kyo wall lights have minimal space for wiring so it can be difficult to get them to sit flush on the wall, but they are attractive, give a decent light effect and I just have to decide whether to paint them or not. Although delicate they were very well packaged, so no problems there.
I a light and bulbs on express delivery, was then told the light was out of stock and the bulbs have not been delivered and only found out they came when I was out online! No note left.My email to complain bounced back and I am wondering what's going on or maybe just get my 300+pounds refunded?!
Unfortunatley the delivery service is very poor they will not leave your package in a safe place, someone has to personally take delivery!!! My wife and I both work full time so this is a real pain. Most other companies will leave the package in a safe place. I will not be using them again Dwayne
Great customer service delivered on time well packaged so no damage. Unfortunately the bulbs I ordered were missing. I think they maybe out of stock and will arrive later. Would still recommend this company as I will be ordering again.
