Review Time
My order for two ceiling lights was safely received without any delay. Unfortunately on examination, the paint or varnish finish on the Cut 43 Flush Light White was found to be unsatisfactory. I am surprised that this was not picked up by Quality Control as the imperfection clearly occurred in the manufacturing process. I hope the light will be replaced promptly.Having reported this matter to the Company and sent a photograph of the imperfect finish, I was delighted to be informed that a replacement light had been sent to me. The replacement arrived within 48 hrs and is in perfect condition. Lighting Direct are to be congratulated for addressing this issue speedily and without any additional costs being charged to the customer.
Parcel was delivered to wrong address and I have still not received it, replacement or refund. Lighting Direct will not take responsibility for error made and do not reply to my emails. I shall be pursuing claim through small claims court.Having just read through the list of very bad reviews it appears they are well known for not replying to emails they receive. Looks like after they have taken your money they are not interested anymore.
I ordered from lighting direct but have been billed by Lyco. I was impressed with the site and the products and placed an order and all follow seemed excellent but my orders seems to have disappeared into a black hole. the haulier has sent an update that it is delayed but that was two days ago and I have had no further info from either them of Lighting Direct. Sadly I am not able comment on the quality of the goods, if they arrive I will do so.So I have been asked if I have contacted the correct company, I have and the lights have finally arrived today, 14th July. I think main problem has been with the delivery service, EVRI who originally lost the order. They have ignored various messages sent via the website to deliver to a designated neighbour or safe place. Goods have finally been left with a different neighbour. As I am now on holiday I will find out if they are useful when I return. Only one of my mails to the Lighting Direct team received a response.
I've bought all of the lights in my house from Lighting Direct and have been so pleased with the quality of all of them. Great customer service if there's ever been an issue (only with regards to a few delayed deliveries due to stock issues) and really easy to get in touch with them!
I've had this type of light before, unfortunately I broke the shade on one so I was looking for a replacement so I didn't have to replace both the lights. I seen these online and in a set of 2 a a good price, the delivery was very good and I'm really happy with the lights so much so I'm glad I didn't get a replacement for the one I broke.
