Review Time
I was very pleased with the product that I ordered. However when it arrived, and I was putting it up, I broke the light casing. I emailed lighting direct to see if I could obtain a replacement, and I was told No, as the units come to lighting direct packaged. This was a bit disappointing to realise there is no aftersales service. In my email to them I was quite honest in saying that I had broken the component, someone less honest than me could have said it was broken on arrival. I had intended to order another 3 similar fittings, but I am now looking around for an alternative supplier. A great shame that poor customer service let them down.
Ordered a light fitting the end of April with the bulb that the company recommended. I have been waiting 2 months for the bulb and although they sent me an email recommending an alternative (apparently the bulb ordered is not in stock until August!….) they have now sent me a link to choose an alternative!!! Please - just send me a bulb i have paid for that is suitable for the light fitting I bought!Thank you for taking note of my review - however you are entirely incorrect as you were not at all waiting for my reply hence the delay…you simply did not send me the bulb! However, I received it the day after posting this review. You need to do better!
This solar wall lamp seems good quality and is excellent value for money. Gives off a decent light on the patio too!! Only drawback was that the heads on the screws provided to fix the back plate to the wall were too small and "pulled" through. This was easily rectified with larger screws and a couple of washers.
I ordered 3 lights for next day delivery because I had a builder coming to build me a bookcase and fit these lights the next day. I have received two, with an email saying another will follow. Really not good enough. I paid for next day delivery because I needed 3 of them the next day, not 2!
I found the site after searching for exterior lighting. This to be installed on an exposed North facing wall, so had to have a good level of protection against rain. I found a fitting that gave good protection, also a very well designed finish. I then ordered (very easy to navigate the site), with the expectation of receiving delivery at the end of the week, receiving a delivery only 2 days after order being placed. Even more impressive was the fact that I ordered this on Saturday evening, delivered on Monday morning.
