Review Time
I had previously used the service a few years ago and found them to be quick and dependable with quality products. Unfortunately, my latest order was a different story. It was dispatched two days after I placed it, but four weeks later, it still hasn't arrived. I reached out regarding the delay, and while the support team was responsive and promised to send it again via express delivery, it only arrived five days later with only two of the three items I ordered. Their products are satisfactory, but they clearly have significant delivery issues.
I used Lightsupplier on a few occasions several years ago and found them to be fast and reliable with good products. Sadly this was not the case with my most recent order. Apparently this was dispatched 2 days after I submitted my order, but 4 weeks later it has still not arrived. I contacted them about the delay to my order and they were responsive and helpful, and promised to resend it by express delivery. This duly arrived (5 days later), but only 2 of the 3 items that I had ordered were present. Their products are fine, but they clearly have serious delivery problems.
I had ordered under cabinet lighting but unfortunately two of the lights were missing the front cover. Although it took a while for replacements to be sent (possibly due to R Mail delays) I was actually sent two complete light units. The units work very well and Im very please overall with the purchase and service
Ordered some more LED-PL2-WH plinth lights which went through and paid for. The package arrived and SY9937WH had been sent. Totally different to what had already been fitted. Phoned light Supplier who informed me 'that's what the warehouse send out'. So not what your actually ordering and paying for.....Was informed on 23rd September they would send out the correct order. Contacted them again on 8th October as still no had arrived, to which I was told the tracking says it was delivered. Not to my house it hasn't. They will contact Royal mail and phone me back. No phone call.....Contacted them again on 9th October and have been told that they have been sent out express delivery and will be with me on the 10th. I'm thinking more lies. I've lost hope and don't think anything is going to arrive. Will not be using this company again.
Excellent communication very high quality product's very helpful manager John, when I asked about delivery times he was able to give me full details of date and time of delivery. I was very impressed with the quality of the products I ordered, which were down lights and under cabinet led strip lighting. I have no hesitation in recommending Light supplier. Only negative feedback I can give is that they should review their tracking system and make it much clearer on their web browser of how to add tracking to an order
Lights perfect. Customer service was excellent when Royal Mail lost first order. No quibble and overnight courier worked. Looks like we aren’t the first client let down by Royal Mail delivery service though. That’s a shame but not the fault of Light Dupplier hence 5 stars.
