It’s now been a year since Lloyd installed our heat pump, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. As a building services engineer, I had a clear idea of what I wanted from the system. From the initial survey onward, Lloyd and the Heat Geek software were excellent—dialling in room temperatures, agreeing on a system without hydraulic separation, and planning how to approach radiator replacements.
The installation itself was completed to a very high standard, and the system has performed flawlessly ever since. The house has been consistently comfortable, and the setup has been completely “fit and forget.” With our solar panels, battery storage, and an off‑peak tariff, we’ve also managed to significantly reduce our energy spend.
Our guaranteed COP from Heat Geek was 3.8, but after a year of operation we’ve achieved an impressive 4.8.
Overall, we’re extremely happy with our choice and the quality of the installation.
I had an ASHP installed just before Christmas. From the first phone call all the way through the survey, installation and commissioning Lloyd and the team were professional and always willing to answer my questions. The installation was done to a high standard and Lloyd also provided follow up support after the job had been completed which really helped me to get used to the new way of heating the house. As replacing a gas heating system with a heat pump felt like a big step, the extra reassurance that Lloyd is part of Heat Geeks was definitely a factor in choosing a supplier. I would definitely recommend using Lloyd if you’re having a heat pump install.
Lloyd came around to do a heat loss survey though Heat geeks. I found him to be very professional, and we discussed our options for a heat pump and water cylinder.After agreeing to his suggestion where the water cylinder could go which was quite a tight space . I agree the price and a few weeks later thay installed a vaillant 7kw heat pump and a 210lt tank, the work took 4 days. As the water cylinder was going where the boiler was we had no central heat but thay brought heaters due to the fitting been in January.Now the heat pump has been running for one month i am very pleased with the house been at a constant 20 degrees and over the month I have an average SCOP of 5.41 in January/February according to the my vaillant app.We are very pleased with this performance and would have no hesitation in recommending Lloyd gas and renewable.

The finished installation was neat, tidy, and tailored specifically to our needs. From the initial heat loss assessment, Lloyd was brilliant, really took his time to get things right and clearly knows his stuff. He explained everything in a way that made sense, and even suggested some extra third-party testing (blower door test) to help us get a more accurate picture on how air tight the house was. Thanks to that, we ended up with a smaller (and cheaper!) 7kW Vaillant unit for our Victorian 3-bed semi, plus a couple of radiator swaps.It was one of their first Heat Geek Zero Disrupt installs, which meant minimal disruption to the house and no compromise on quality. The heat loss assessment was free, and the install cost less than replacing our old gas boiler, especially with the BUS grant. Total no-brainer.Communication was great throughout the couple of months leading up to the install. Ryan and Leo arrived bang on time, were super respectful of the property, and clearly took pride in their work. We only had one day without heating and hot water, which was a bonus.After everything was connected, Lloyd came back to commission the system, checked all the flows, pressures, temps, and took the time to show me how to use it properly. Nice touch.It’s been a couple of weeks and so far, really happy. The team were exceptional, friendly, tidy, and clearly proud of what they do. Still waiting for colder weather to fully test the system, but I’d recommend them to anyone thinking about getting a heat pump.
Lloyd has been great to work with. His communication is clear and timely. He turned up for the job when he said he would and completed everything to a high standard. The guys in his team were also lovely and very courteous whilst working in our home. Lloyd and his team ran new radiator runs and changed our our gas boiler for a heat source pump.
