About four months ago, we booked a holiday for next year with a somewhat limited budget, choosing an all-inclusive deal that fit within our means. We made all payments on our monthly plan, so we were shocked when we received an email last week stating our flights had been cancelled and refunded with no explanation.The airline confirmed the cancellation but advised that Love Holidays would need to rebook the flights. When I contacted Love Holidays, I was offered either a full cancellation and refund, or to book our own flights without ATOL protection. As we had also booked airport parking and transfers through Love Holidays, this was not an ideal solution.I suggested alternative flights that were available, as per their policy, but Love Holidays informed me it would cost an extra £400 if we wanted to book new flights. As the holiday was booked months in advance to secure affordable rates, we could not absorb this cost, nor could we find an equivalent holiday within our budget elsewhere at such a later date.After going back and forth with multiple customer service representatives - predominantly Sachin, Himangshu, and K Wicheng - we were reluctantly forced to pay an additional charge. This situation, months after the original booking, has been stressful and disappointing. I would have expected a company of this size to offer more support or waive the extra fee in such circumstances, especially as this is through no fault of our own.While Love Holidays offers competitive rates, this experience has left us with a bad taste. We will not be using this platform again and would advise potential customers on a tight budget to consider alternatives, as unexpected costs may arise and make an affordable holiday no longer affordable. Overall, very disappointing.
Great holiday company, always very helpful . I had to cancel my holiday due to illness which was easy but we've managed to rebook another holiday in January. Easy to contact and and you get to speak to a real human! I used this company last when we went to Gran Canaria. Always very helpful . I definitely recommend them.
