Are you kidding me? The customer experience is ridiculous. We had the worst holiday of our lives and LoveHoliday just didn’t want to know. Offered us a 4% refund for a week of hell and then didn’t even send that when we told them it wasn’t acceptable. Save your money and book with a company that cares.
I will never forget this company. I was looking forward to my holiday with my sister. We booked a 5*hotel and when we arrived there we were disappointed from the start of the holiday.I’m disabled and i had informed in advance,infact the day i booked the holiday in Kos.When we arrived at the hotel it was pitch black,the lighting around the hotel was extremely poor. We were told to leave our suitcases at the reception,and go straight to the restaurant for something to eat and drink.We were told that our room would be ready for us when we are finished. Sounds perfect we thought.We went into the restaurant to find that they had already cleared most of the food out. We were offered a plate of chips,so we were just wanting something so we accepted them.My sister had to find her way for a drink, she ended up with 2 teas. We wasn’t too fussed about that either. The waitress bought us a plate of chips with some pizza,sounds great but sadly it was cold and we could have played football with the pizza it was so hard and cold.Not a great start.Anyway we were led to our room and that was even worse because it was so dark.We asked about a drink and got told to go back to the reception when we were ready.We couldn’t get a drink as it was passed 11pm We didn’t arrive until after 10pm.We were refused anyway.We ended up going back to our room in the dark using our phones as torches for some light.When we got to the room it had bugs of some description in the bathroom that only had a bath in it.Our phone in the room wasn’t working.So back to reception we went, and i explained how we couldn’t stay in that room because i can’t get into a bath and there were bugs in there under the sink and bath, one was crawling up the sink unit.We were exhausted by this point and were asked to stay in that room for the night and we would get another in the morning. We agreed that as long as the bathroom got cleaned up.They sent a male cleaner who just let himself into our room.We were mortified.Anyway,next morning we went back to the reception for the keys to another room. I got told that there were no disabled rooms available because they hadn’t been cleaned and wasn’t expecting a disabled guest. At this point we had had enough. We asked for a change of hotel. We were told that no other hotel was available for disabled guests because it wasn’t really the start of the season, it was the 11th of April, we were told that the season doesn’t start until the 18th ? the day of our departure. We were asked to be patient and allow them to come up with a solution. We went to the restaurant for breakfast. The food was cold because the hot plates wasn’t working.? Again it’s not the start of the season. I called the holiday company and got the answer machine saying that they were available as of Monday-Friday 9am till 5pm and they will contact us then. We were on the 3/4 days in, and we had spent a fortune on food? Our hotel was all inclusive? I tried contacting a rep, but no one was available. The holiday ended up with us being bitten alive by mosquitos,a room that hand to keep being fixed for one reason or another.Even the phone in our 3rd room ( upgraded)? it was a nightmare from beginning to end,we felt that we had just been dumped in a hotel, with all sorts of problems with the kitchen and restaurant.The spa wasn’t available to us, the only lift in the hotel that took you to the spa was out of order so we couldn’t use it no matter what. All we kept getting told was that the season didn’t start till the 18th.It got to a point when we had not heard from the holiday rep or the company itself.We had a couple of days left and then we were going home thank goodness.Even the pools had broken tiles etc etc no water in one of the pools at all,and yes,!the season hasn’t started yet. We got home, i made a complaint straight away. I got told that i should have been in touch straight away when we arrived if we wasn’t happy or had a complaint??They wouldn’t acknowledged the fact that we had been trying to contact them,they said that there was no record of me ever calling them throughout the seven days of my holiday. I explained that I am disabled. I use a wheelchair and it’s not always easy for me to get around,take a shower,or even just getting out and about along the road.We were told that the hotel was in the heart, of and we were close to everything. It took us just over an hour to walk to Kos town Centre.We done this for five days of our holiday, we ate and drank out because the hotels restaurant wasn’t very nice at all. I’m not want to complain about the food in restaurants when I’m on holiday because you might my point of view is that there will always be something for everyone to eat no matter what.However, at this hotel there was nothing.We got told that we should’ve saved all the receipts,etc,but I didn’t know that,they said nothing can be done for us.
Didn't like that I couldn't change a passenger details way before holiday and lost that spot and had to pay for that ticket aswell.Hotel we had went too was under construction and was not told as a result we had no pool in 40 degree heat so that was terrible
