If I could, I would rate this 0 stars... We bought two tickets for the light festival cruise and arrived 15 minutes early, only to find a long line due to overbooking. Many were still waiting from earlier time slots; after two hours, we learned we were still not halfway through. It was pouring rain, and the staff told us the boats were full, requiring another 2 to 2.5 hours of waiting. We had booked one of the last time slots at 21:00. Because of the rain and long wait, we missed the cruise we paid for. It truly felt like we were cheated. This experience almost ruined our trip.

As a local from Amsterdam, I can say this tour was a huge letdown. I planned a surprise visit for my girlfriend to the Amsterdam Light Festival, but it ended up being a disappointing experience. We booked a boat tour for 20:30 and arrived at 20:15, yet we didn't board until 21:15. We stood in the cold and rain with no acknowledgment from the staff. After waiting an hour, complaints began, but we were told we could only get a refund if we left. Staying meant enduring the long wait without any compensation. Clearly, they oversold tickets and didn’t care about the schedule. The tour itself focused more on general Amsterdam rather than the artwork, with foggy windows making it hard to see. One side of my headphones didn’t even work. If you sit on the left side of the boat, you'll miss most installations. Save your money and frustration—choose a smaller boat tour or take a nice walk instead.

The lights reflecting on the water created a magical atmosphere that made every moment special. A perfect mix of romance, elegance, and the timeless beauty of Amsterdam. Our friends from various countries all had a fantastic evening! 🌷🚤💫 Kudos to the crew for their excellence! This was our second time bringing guests for this experience, and we were once again thoroughly satisfied!
I can't rate the canal ride poorly as it was beautiful, and there’s not much to say other than that. We checked out the canal rides on 16/10 around midday, and while the lady at the counter was lovely and helpful, the man responded rudely when my partner mentioned it was our last day. This negative comment put us off completely. We had no issues during our stay until that moment. It was unnecessary and disappointing, especially at a tourist attraction. I’ve shared my thoughts with friends who plan to visit soon and unfortunately advised them to look elsewhere.
⚠️ Caution: Avoid this company at all costs! I had a terrible experience with the provider in Amsterdam. I booked two tickets online but only received one by email. At the counter, the staff member refused to assist, offered no solutions, and was cold. I even had to call for a police officer to intervene, but he insisted I should have paid on-site instead of online. Eventually, I discovered the ticket I received was valid for two people. My experience was ruined by such unprofessional behavior. I strongly recommend against choosing this company.
We arrived at a booth near Leidersplane and had just missed a boat. The young man at the booth suggested we return in an hour for the next one. We did, arrived 10 minutes early, and booked our tickets. We were pleased with our choice. Captain Louie was fantastic—friendly, engaging, and informative. He allowed us to listen to the audio tour while sharing additional insights. He made the trip enjoyable! They are one of the more affordable options, so if you want to spend more, go elsewhere. At €17.50 each, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it and found the history of Amsterdam fascinating!
I felt compelled to give a one-star rating due to the rude staff at the coffee shop while using the pay-and-use toilet. Why would we jump the line for a couple of euros when we could buy three cruise tickets instead? It's no wonder the ratings are so poor. Such behavior while serving customers is unacceptable!
We pre-booked a 2:00 PM cruise intending to board at the Rijks Museum. On arrival, we were informed there would be no 2:00 PM cruise, and we had to wait for the 2:30 PM one. When I inquired about a refund, I was told 'No.' We boarded the 2:30 PM boat, which had only a few other passengers. However, we were then told to disembark to accommodate a large group. The cruise itself was covered, making it hard to take decent photos. The audio commentary was poor and often interrupted by the captain's announcements. Overall, this cruise felt like a waste of money, and I would recommend choosing an open boat for a better experience.
