We recently had to return from Cuba earlier than we had booked, due to the jet fuel shortage & based on the UK Goverments advice.
We would like to thank Heather in your Ticketing Department for her help both in-resort & once we returned home. Without her assistance it would have made this whole situation "impossible".
She has shown outstanding customer service and installed trust with us that you would do what you said & also set our expectations re-timescales etc.
We have booked with Destination 2 before, the experience we have in this instance & specifically with Heather would certainly encourage us to book with yourselves again.

Stephen assured me it was all legit and explained why their prices come up so much cheaper than others that it's hard to believe. Customer service was fantastic. He was friendly, answered all my questions and helped me book my hotel which was £600 cheaper than booking directly with the hotel for a like-for-like deal.

Booked a seven day cruise through this company had severe problems from day two sent numerous emails this company can’t be bothered to reply or get in contact. Save yourself the hassle steer clear of booking through this company. It’s a case of once they’ve taken your money, not their problem anymore terrible customer service.
Adding onto this I’ve read everybody else’s reviews. It’s a common problem. They don’t answer the phone. They don’t answer the emails so I know what everyone else has gone through the sheer stress of it all just go straight to the cruise company or use another agent like people say Stillwell clear of these people I wonder whether they reply to mine.

Holiday Buyer Beware!!

So it took 21 BUSINESS days for the refund for our cancelled holiday to be credited back to our credit card. OK, so it says in their T&Cs it can take upto 21 days for the payment to be refunded. However, their '21 working day refund policy' to allow them to drag out the process of returning the payment is totally unacceptable - especially when I cancelled the booking whilst it was showing as 'PENDING' on my statement / APP.

I was promised (when I spoke to them) that it would be cancelled straight away...and take approx 5 days to show my end. She did say it could take upto 21 days, but normally just a few days...
We've previously booked holidays with D2 over the years... one family holiday amounting to 16k. Not any more - I've taken my business elsewhere as a result of the hassle they created. Totally unacceptable - the

Directors of the firm should ask themselves whether they truly do care and look after their customers, especially when bookings made online in good faith cannot be honoured, like-for-like, for one reason or another.

Yes, this is a genuine review under booking reference D22531311368 for an amount totalling £2671.66.

I also received an email from customer services stating the following...

"We would like to confirm that your booking is cancelled and your refund has been logged to reflect within the next 21 business days from the date of request 02Jan26."

In reality, the refund payment technology allows you to make an immediate refund. I would have accepted a 7-day turnaround to refund the monies, but certainly not 21 BUSINESS days (3 weeks!!). This timescale is just unacceptable and certainly not customer-friendly.

I can't express my gratitude enough. I enlisted the help of the representative in 2022 to arrange a memorable trip to a tropical destination for my 50th birthday. We wanted to return this February, so I reached out again. The representative is always willing to assist and goes the extra mile to find the ideal vacation for us.
