I bought gas at store #785 today. The employee scanned my barcode and it beeped so I thought cool. I went to the pump and it didn't give me my 10cent discount per gallon . After pumping gas, I went inside
to ask why. The manager was called, she came out defending herself. I asked about the discount. She checked the register and said "you didn't scan a barcode. I said yes I did and the employee verified that I did. She flamed out stating that she didn't care and there's nothing she could do. I told her that the Attorney General's office would like to hear this fraud case . Possibly millions of discounts not getting to customers nationwide. I will go back to Speedway to get my gas and coffee. They give out discounts beyond 10 cents/gallon. Your store is closer to me, but Speedway has more stable employees and always nice. 10-4 out.
I had a troubling experience with a manager a year ago, and the company has not shown any concern for the situation. I would advise others to avoid working here, especially after witnessing inappropriate behavior and relationships among management. It's disheartening after investing two years for a role, only to encounter such toxicity.
At this truck stop, the gentleman at the register was exceptionally kind and welcoming to everyone. The store was clean and well-stocked. It truly makes a difference when employees are friendly and respectful. That's where I prefer to spend my money.
This service takes advantage of customers. I tried to get gas at the pump, but my card didn’t work. After going inside to pay, they still placed a hold of $175 on my account and refused to help. This has caused bills to bounce, and they showed no concern for my situation. It’s frustrating!
