Frustrating email server delays.

The email servers are incredibly slow when sending information. I've been unable to set up an account due to confusing activation links. It would be better to have a single link for account activation. The two-factor authentication also takes too long. I attempted to reach out to the support team for assistance, but I need an account to move forward. The email server capacity really needs improvement. I wasted 20 minutes trying to get my account set up.

The email servers take an excessively long time to send messages. I've been struggling to set up an account. The activation email is confusing with its two links. Just provide a straightforward activation link! The two-factor authentication process also takes ages. I attempted to reach out to the support team for help, but I need the account to proceed. They really need to improve their email server capacity. I wasted 20 minutes trying to set up my account.

Powerful Software but Burdened by Complexity and Licensing Issues

The software is undeniably robust for backups, offering excellent imaging capabilities that work reliably once set up properly. However, achieving that setup is a challenge. The interface is complicated and not user-friendly, making navigation feel cluttered. Routine tasks require wading through technical jargon and complex menus, indicating a product designed more for engineers than average users. This technical mindset also reflects in the company's approach to customer service. When I bought the software, I believed I was getting a perpetual license, but it appears I received a temporary one that will be altered with rebranding and a subscription model. The subscription fees are hard to justify, especially as existing customers face disproportionate rates without significant updates. It feels like loyal customers are being treated as mere revenue sources. My recent experience with their support team only solidified my decision to look for alternatives. When I asked how to transfer my license to a new PC, they deactivated it on my current machine, preventing me from completing a final backup. My complaint was ignored, and my ticket was closed without acknowledgment. Overall, while the software is technically impressive, the lack of customer focus and the convoluted licensing have led me to seek other options.

Subscription model is disappointing

Offering this software only as a subscription feels disrespectful to customers. When I invest money, I prefer to own something tangible rather than paying for ongoing service without receiving real value. Consequently, I will continue using the previous version until a purchasable option becomes available.

If I could rate them zero, I would

If I could give them a zero rating, I certainly would. I downloaded it from their official site and after a brief ten minutes of use, I was hit with a 30-day expiration notice. I uninstalled it, and then my entire system crashed. This is unacceptable.

Perpetual license? Not really.

In October 2021, I purchased what I thought was a perpetual license. By December 2025, it will no longer be supported. So much for perpetual. They offer an annual subscription with a 50% discount for life, but the price will increase each year, eventually costing the full price. I’m switching to an alternative product.

Customer support is frustrating

The product is decent, but the customer support is abysmal. I canceled my subscription due to this and removed the software from my PC, advising others to think twice before choosing this product.

Annual subscription is a dealbreaker

While I consider this software the best for backups, I strongly disapprove of the annual subscription model. Therefore, I plan to explore other options.

Great Software, Poor Licensing and Support

The software is outstanding and does exactly what it promises. Unfortunately, the licensing and support are severely lacking. I regret purchasing a key that doesn’t work, and I'm unable to use the software or get help. The licensing issues are so frustrating that I've decided to return it for a refund.
