I accepted the pay because I didn’t want to deal with the iPad anymore. I also can accept they deducted for the sticker markings on the back of the iPad.
HOWEVER, I did NOT send my iPad in with scratches that deducted my offer to nearly half. I cleaned that screen. Turned it off and personally inspected the screen. I wish I took picture before I sent it in. So warning take pictures of everything before sending your item in next to something stating the date . They will pay fast at least!
I decided to go for it and send my phone to Whiz Cells. It came up on the Google search and a quick look through, I thought it was legit. I sent them a phone in great physical condition - no scratches or dings or nicks whatsoever. The battery life had deteriorated a bit so I expected compromised on the price. The original promise was $90. They received my phone and sent me an email saying the phone was totally deeply scratched and dirty and they tested the battery, 79%, so my offer was $15. Absolutely unbelievable. I told them I sent them an unscathed phone in perfect condition double wrapped in bubble wrap, so no way it happened during shipping. They said unless I can show them a photo of the phone with the IMEI showing I’m out of luck.
I ended up getting the phone, now totally damaged and dirty, sent back to me.

I was initially quoted twice as much as any other place online for my iPad Mini (which I expected to be reduced for "some reason" once it was received) and I received the Entire amount!I reached out through email because it took longer than expected for them to receive (but then realized that was due to the weather) and I received a very quick response from them calming my worries.Once they did receive it it was very quickly ready for deposit into my account of choice. I would definitely recommend AND use again.
Was quoted a good price and reviews seemed positive. They claimed my phone had deep scratches with a photo to “prove” it. The photo was of some other phone and did not show my ID number. Their next rebuttal did not show a photo of my phone with scratches and the MEI at the same time. My phone was nearly perfect but how can I argue with their photo? How could I believe they would return it? I took their low ball offer. Read other reviews. No one should trust them. Repeat: do not trust them.
I’ve sold a dozen phones to them. Unlike their competitors, they didn’t try and change the offer last minute and claim some mystery damage (looking at you gadgetpickup). In fact, one time they gave me a little extra saying the phone was in better shape than I claimed. Great company.
