Been out of work for a while, so getting a fulltime job was a priority, this agency had offered me bits and peices of work doing local warehouse work, when i got offered a fulltime position at JVM worcester I had to go in on the one day booked off i had that year, My Birthday!
Was told it would only be an hour for this induction, nope... over 3 hours later i left to go home, now i had worked for JVM about 10 years ago and the place hasnt changed 1 bit, it still has zero heating in winter so if your working anywhere in that place your gonna freeze to death make no mistake, then we come to whats happened to me today, i've gone through a lof of stress and anxiety over the past 2.5 months and i had to leave early from work due to feeling very dizzy, sick and having a intense headache, Masstemps knowing the history of what ive been going through decided to call me this morning, (bear in mind i work an evening shift so i had been asleep for about 3 maybe hours) and be-little me on the phone, just disgusting behaviour.
Training is non-existant, you get 10 minutes maybe then thats it, they expect you to produce work the same as someone who has 10 years experience, so today im now even more stressed out and trying to find somewher else to work since ive been threatened over the phone that i will lose my job because i had medical problems, if masstemps reads this, i will contacting professional standards and reporting you for this issue.
Stay away from this agency, they come across all sweet and nice but its all a facade, they done give a toss about anyone.

Best agency for me,they’ve found me a long term position on three occasions now. None of the a couple of days here and a couple of days shenanigans and pretty decent manufacturing companies. Big up to James and Tom at the Dudley branch, nice1 👍🏾👍🏾
I have to say that I only dealt with the Walsall branch. Mirek was the point of contact. Very aggressive in trying to get you to join the agency and tell you that you are perfect for a position that they have in manufacturing. (Machine operator/Quality Inspection in Great Barr). Pay rate isn’t too bad advertised, he’ll tell you that he visits site every other week and that QPP is a decent opportunity and will benefit from your manufacturing skills and experience. Weekly pay set for a Friday, any problems or questions about the role you can get in touch and he’ll help. What actually happens is completely different. Firstly you will have to arrive early as you won’t be given exact address for QPP ( 3 sites on same road) plus they won’t have a clue that you are there to start work.As in most manufacturing jobs that supply JLR it’s going to be fast paced but to be given only 1-2 minutes training on a process and expected to do it perfect for the rest of the shift is not feasible. Within a few hours you ask a couple of questions ie: When’s it breaktime, what do you do if there’s a fire, who’s the first aider. The normal things that are relayed to you in the induction that you are told will happen. If you’re Eastern European you’ll be fine but if you’re British than worry straight away. Staff turnover is scarily high as most people don’t even finish the first shift. In my opinion the whole set up is designed to solely us and abuse people and if you have any understanding of workplace procedures you will be told that your work has run out via text. No explanation at all but when you’ve been told by the supervisor that you will be doing a certain job for the rest of the week you do wonder what is going on. So my advice is keep your eyes and ears open and your mouth tightly zipped. Oh lastly seriously worry about a company that pays you on a completely different day you expect and it doesn’t even go in at midnight instead anytime between 12:30 and 17:00 via transfer. The use of a 3rd party payroll company might be normal but why do they need their own payroll person. It all made me feel uncomfortable and it wasn’t a good experience looking back
