We did the Wind Dancer Sunset tour out of Las Vegas & Cody was our friendly, knowledgeable Pilot.
We had about an 30 minute trip out to the Canyon passing over Lake Mead & a loop over the Hoover Dam wall. Although I have been to the rim of the Grand Canyon before, I had not been down in it.
We then headed to a fuel stop, 5-10 minutes , on the way back to pass over some stunning rock formations, Fremont Street & the skirting along the Strip.
An excellent tour & I would highly recommend.
Our pilot, Ethan, was GREAT showing us the beautiful sea cliffs of Molokai, but also taking a little extra time to circle some whales (at a good distance) and a couple of submarine’s too!
The check-in was easy and we got to chat with the pilot before getting briefed and boarding.

Wow! Wow! What’s a fantastic trip! Our pilot was amazing. We saw waterfalls up close and personal! Flew up through the gorgeous valleys. The sea cliffs of Molokai were so spectacular! Our pilot’s skill was awe inspiring. He was also a great tour guide, explaining in detail everything we saw. We even were treated to a whale watching tour! This trip far exceeded my expectations. Can’t wait for our next trip! Thank you!
We did the Wind Dancer Sunset tour for our last night in Nevada. It was absolutely spectacular!! We flew over Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, the Mojave Desert, and then landed on a plateau within the Grand Canyon! It was a once in a lifetime experience. And our pilot was friendly and professional. The helicopters were comfortable and the window views were perfect. Flying back to Vegas as the sun set was perfection. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
The communication was seamless, and our captain, Tim, was outstanding. Before the flight, he thoroughly explained all the necessary safety and communication protocols. Throughout the trip, Tim shared the fascinating history of each area we passed. The flight was incredibly smooth, and the views were absolutely magnificent.
Felix was very personable. Our family of 7 loved the education of the island and the rainforest. Highlights of the tour were Jurassic Rock and the fresh passion fruit. We will forever remember this. 😊
Although it was our first tour with the service, it certainly won't be our last. I can hardly decide if I enjoyed the team or the sunset tour more. The company provides such a unique perspective of the Grand Canyon and Vegas that it's difficult to express fully. The highlight was that every person we encountered on the team was genuinely thrilled to have us there.
