Excellent service and brilliant customer support for the several years that I've been with them. Occasionally I even ask about things that aren't even particularly relevant to the service I am paying for, and they have no problem pointing me in the right direction if not answering the questions outright, which is massively helpful. Really couldnt expect a better service!
I have a large ecomerce website and was told that spiral would look after the migration free of charge and all would be fine so I signed up, not so nothing worked, problem after problem, and no way to contact them, I think they were hacked, and just did not come back to me, always in meetings. So I pulled the plug and went elsewhere, a month later still trying fix everything, they didn't transfer all the files, worst 2 weeks ever with them, then to add insult never refunded the money. Do urself a favour just don't go near them.
WE had a issue with one of our websites last week, it was of no fault of Sprial, it was a plugin that we installed here that caused the problem, a quick call for help to Peter and job fixed in 10 mins so again cant praise them enough. Joe Boland
I switched to Spiral Hosting a few months ago for two websites, which had been with different hosts and were registed with different domain name companies. Their business plans offer plenty of space and performance, with better value than my two previous hosts (combined) and the familiar cPanel, which had been missing with other hosts.When my WordPress sites were using too much CPU, support was able to give guidance to resolve the issue and also pointed out that one of my properties didn't have SSL enabled, which I hadn't realised.So far, very pleased with the move. Support is by email/web only as far as I can tell, and it would be nice to be able to pick up the phone in some instances but so far that's not been a problem.
