Bought a Audigy FX V2 to fix windows 11 audio popping issues. alas didnt at all in fact was worse no matter what PC it was inserted. Installed random drivers that made latency worse. Tried a 2nd card. same issue. Creative said it was my PC, despite having tried multiple. and said to buy a creative USB DAC (Eye roll that wont fix anything just trying to upsell me)
Gave up using it and went back to my ALC4080 and re-enabled it in BIOS.
few months later thought id give a crack at it again. Creative software wont pick up any sound cards.

Went to support waited days for a response.
Low and behold
AI support automated reply regurgitating google results. No support.
Never buy creative they are scum who dont care.

I inquired about a rubber part for a product and was told it wasn't available. I asked again if a large company had any spare parts, and the answer was still no. I'm glad they still offer older hardware soundcards that support features for classic games. However, newer hardware lacks this support. I can't speak for their speakers, but I love their soundcards. The older models are great, but I wish they would continue supporting essential software features. I recommend their newer products, but you'll need additional cards for older games.
I had a great experience with customer support. I purchased a Bluetooth dongle for gaming about five years ago but lost the converter, rendering it useless for anything other than USB C consoles. After trying various adapters without success, I contacted them. A representative offered to send a replacement free of charge and even shipped it tracked. It’s refreshing to have such good service in an age where it's often lacking. I'm not sure why others have had negative experiences, but I would definitely buy from them again.
The company has ceased support for many of their older products, which is quite frustrating. I own several of their sound cards and speaker systems, but now I’m being told that they no longer support these products on newer operating systems. I’ve invested a lot in their products over the years, and it’s disheartening to see them pushing customers to buy new products when the old ones still function. This trend in the tech industry is frustrating.
The earbuds I purchased do not work for me, and my attempts to return them have been met with delays. After six weeks and 31 emails, I keep receiving the same response without any resolution. The customer service has been terrible, and I won't buy from them again.
