I am very disappointed with Maxis internet service, especially during weekends. This is the time when most people are at home and actually need to use the internet, yet the connection becomes extremely slow and unstable. Pages take forever to load, videos keep buffering, and online games are almost impossible to play.
It feels like the network cannot handle the number of users during peak hours, which should not be happening with a major service provider. We are paying for a certain speed, but we are definitely not getting what we pay for on weekends.
Maxis needs to improve their network capacity and ensure consistent performance, not just during weekdays but especially during peak times. Reliable internet is not a luxury anymore — it’s a necessity.
Switching from my last provider to this service has proven to be a significant mistake. The router is faulty; we've already changed it once, and now it's malfunctioning again. I'm genuinely disappointed. Other providers offer much better options. They promised a free TV, but I'm paying RM250 a month for inadequate service. I recommend avoiding this provider and looking at others.
As a user of telco services, I decided to switch from this provider to another for my internet service. On 21 Dec 2025, the new company submitted a request to transfer. However, the application has been stuck awaiting approval from the current provider. I've been following up through their hotline and customer service, but the process has been frustrating. After multiple missed calls and confusion, I was informed that my transfer was rejected. This process feels unnecessarily complicated and troublesome.
The internet service works well until it doesn't. When there's an outage, reaching a representative to report the issue is nearly impossible, leaving you stuck with automated systems. It's frustrating that they quickly suspend service for an overdue bill, but take their time to fix their own issues. They are quick to collect payments but slow to provide the service you're paying for. The priorities in customer service seem entirely misplaced.
This mobile service provider has been extremely disappointing. As a frequent visitor from abroad, I've been using this service for years and feel ripped off. I recently switched to another provider, and the improvements in quality and value are significant compared to this one. I will not be returning.
Switching from my previous provider to this service has been one of my worst decisions. The router fails to work, and we've already replaced it once, yet it's malfunctioning again. I'm really let down; other options are far superior. They even claimed I would receive a free TV, but I'm paying RM250 monthly for subpar service. Please don't fall for this provider and choose alternatives.
The customer service has been lacking. It took an entire month to fix my home internet. I had to visit a physical store even after reaching out to customer support. The value in terms of price and service quality is the worst I've encountered.
