Was told product was out of stock so had to wait for item to be made and shipped out with got to me within the 3 months waiting time I was quoted ,I am over the moon with the overall quality and finish of the carbon nose cone for my r1 she looks absolutely amazing now thanks mdi .I was very nervous after reading previous reviews thinking my order would never arrive or be of poor quality but all I can give this company is praise they met the delivery time I was quoted and the overall quality was spot on
I put my order in March 14. March 20, I emailed and asked for an update. Next day was told part was out of stock and would have to wait for production which takes 8-10 weeks to finish. I knew I would be moved into my new address within that time, so I asked if they could change the delivery address and explained the situation. They agreed. April 19 I got an email saying the package was en route. May 2 it was delivered. Looking at the piece, it seems to be good quality. I ordered a twill weave with gloss finish. But after looking at it for a while, I do wonder if it is real carbon fiber or if it is just a good quality wrap.I give them an A+ for communication and working with me to ensure I would receive the part.I give the part itself an A, because it looks great and feels very strong.Value I would say is a B, because I paid almost $100 for a 12x5 inch piece that I am not totally certain is real carbon fiber.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MDI!! Waited over 6 months for my husband's birthday gift of side covers for his Suzuki Bandit. Email replies kept saying it should ship soon. I asked for a refund, loni sent a tracking number and an email saying they were sent. A month later that number still says waiting for item. I emailed again demanding a refund. Absolutely no response. Now I'm out almost 200.00 and nothing to give for a gift. Don't let them do the same to you, save your money and go elsewhere! This company sucks.🤬🤬
Sorry to say, i won’t be dealing with this company again, i ordered parts for my B-King in Early October last year and by late March this year i was still waiting on half of my parts! Various excuses were given, luckily i paid through PayPal so I’ve got a refund on the parts not supplied to me. A shame really, because the parts i did receive are good quality. Go elsewhere if you know what’s good for you! Peter.
Do not buy from this company, I waited 6 months for my parts to arrive, when they did they were wrong and damaged!! 6 further months of promises to send replacements never happened neither did a refund. I repeat do not buy from this company.
I have had one of my worsts buying experience with MDI-Carbon.I had a project to renew my fairings buying some carbon fiber parts. So I've ordered several parts from MDI-Carbon, however they send me just one part and never completed the order neither refunded my money. They have a "method" to do that, they make time exchanging messages saying "wait until next week..." until the Ebay complainment time expires, so their rate in Ebay remain very good. Also they tried to take me more money. I'll attach some prints of messages I've exchanged with them, in order to you guys be able to know I'm not just trying to ruin their reputation. They have exchanged the old account named mdi-carbon in e-bay and now they have an account named mdicarbonfiber2. Be careful with this store.
