Review Time
Bought my Jaguar I Pace from these crooks on the 14th November and after getting less than 5 miles up the road low pressure warning on the front nearside tyre! Drive back to Newcastle keeping regularly checking and after getting home looked for the locking wheel nut key and there was none! I have phoned then over 100 times since the following day and they only answered twice after i rang from 2 different friends phones, it looks like they block your number when you raise an issue after being told they will ring you back within half an hour. Now a further £500 out of pocket and STILL not rang me back and just not interested since they took my money. I have contacted citizens advice and have reported them to trading standards DO NOT BUY FROM THE CROOKS!
Extremely Disappointed – Sold a Faulty Car and Refused to Take ResponsibilityI am writing this review to warn others about my awful experience with Mega Car Supermarket Ltd. I purchased a car from them believing it was in good condition, as described in the advert and confirmed by the salesperson. Unfortunately, my experience since then has been nothing short of a nightmare.Shortly after driving the car home, I started noticing several issues that clearly showed the car was not properly inspected or prepared before being sold. Warning lights started appearing on the dashboard, the engine began making unusual noises, and within days it became obvious that the car had multiple hidden faults. These included mechanical problems, poor braking performance, and electrical issues that made the vehicle unsafe and unreliable to drive.I contacted Mega Car Supermarket Ltd immediately to report these problems, expecting them to take some responsibility and either repair the faults, replace the vehicle, or offer a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which protects buyers of faulty goods. Unfortunately, the dealership’s response was completely unacceptable. The staff were rude, dismissive, and defensive, refusing to acknowledge that the car had any issues despite clear evidence. They kept giving excuses, delaying responses, and avoiding any meaningful solution. When I requested to have the car inspected by an independent mechanic, they discouraged it and tried to shift the blame onto me, suggesting that the problems must have developed after purchase — even though they appeared within days of taking delivery. It was very clear that they had no interest in providing after-sales support or standing behind the vehicles they sell. After further inspection by a qualified garage, it was confirmed that the car had serious pre-existing faults that could not have developed in such a short time. This means Mega Car Supermarket Ltd sold me a car that was not of satisfactory quality, not as described, and not fit for purpose, which is a clear breach of UK consumer law.I have now had to spend a significant amount of money repairing issues that should never have existed in a vehicle advertised as being in “excellent condition.” The entire experience has been stressful, time-consuming, and financially draining. What makes it worse is the dealership’s complete lack of professionalism, honesty, and customer care.I strongly advise anyone considering buying from Mega Car Supermarket Ltd to think twice and do thorough research before handing over any money. Insist on an independent inspection before purchase, check every detail, and do not rely on their assurances. Once they have your money, you’ll be on your own if anything goes wrong. This company clearly prioritises profit over integrity and customer satisfaction. Based on my experience, I would never buy from them again and I would not recommend them to anyone. They sold me a car in poor condition, ignored their legal responsibilities, and left me with the consequences.Save yourself the trouble and buy elsewhere — Mega Car Supermarket Ltd cannot be trusted.
Avoid avoid avoid!! Unless you want throw your money away on a faulty car stay clear of those bunch of cowboys....I'd be here all day writing what happened but let's say I had the last laugh. I see the piece of rubbish is back on the website dont touch it with a barge pole. Jag E pace LN69UFW riddled with problems. Just like all their reviews, cars break down once u drive them away!STAY CLEAR!!!!!!
AVOID AT COSTS!!!!!!!!Purchased a Range Rover sport from these cowboys, had issues within a week of having the car every time I rang to make them aware of the issues they said they would give me a call back went on for weeks, the car because unroadworthy due to the issues, luckily I part financed the car and the finance company picked up the car and delivered it to these con men, they have had my car for 6 weeks and not a single person can tell me where my car is what is going on with it or any information at all, the finance company can’t get a single bit of contact from them at all I’m still here now with no vehicle and no help from them,They will also laugh at you down the phone when and tell you that you are wasting your own time because they are not going to help you
My son bought a vehicle from this company, they were dishonest and unhelpfull from the start, told him it would be serviced before he picked it up. We took it to our own garage to check it over as the previous service it had the year begore said the brakes and discs would need changing which the dealer claimed had been done. On inspection by our own garage none of this had been done and the vehicle had not been serviced. Obviously we went back to them and after much backwards and forwards they did the work required. However after 3 months of owning the vehicle my son still does not have a V5 certificate and DVLA says this is because the dealer has never re-registered the vehicle, of course cannot get hold of anyone at the dealers and no one calls back, shocking customer service and im afraid i would have to agree with other reviews to avoid these dis-honest people at all costs.
Avoid at all costs Clearly shows how conning they are are there used to be loads of reviews bad but now it’s showing 1 as a write mine.clearly deleted and started again !! We bought a car from these and we asked regards the brakes and discs as on the previous 2 mot reports was on as advisory’s for them being pitted and worn, we was told by Zack would be sorted , so upon collection they showed my partner around the car , he asked regards to a noise of the engine over revving type noise and they passed off as normal , So we got it home and the noise got worse we took to our local garage and he said he will see if it’s the seals but could not order as landrover systems was down , the brakes and pads was also vibrating so he looked and they had not been changed as promised , after a long back and forth with Zack and hollie they finally agreed for our garage to sort the wheels as we had been promised. And for our chosen garage to sort the noise issue ! the noise still there and as not been sorted didn’t help landrover being down so that’s not the guy’s fault for that delay . Now worse than ever so our local garage said best to be looked at by someone who knows jag a little better so we looked for a jag specialist without the price tag of jaguar itself who may know or have done this issue before , found one and he as said there is a valve somewhere open but would need it for 3 hours or more to get to the areas of concerns , we text hollie and they have now gone back on word and saying we have to take back to them !! We do not trust them they passed this off as normal the first place and even passed the mot some how ! When brakes and discs was not rectified as promised before sale ! They go back on word they are not a honest garage We have spoken to AA who they claim are backed by and are working with us to resolve and we have also spoke to a solicitor and citizens advice to which both have said they are in breach of contracts as sold a car that is not in full working order as sold . I will update as the case continues and if they decide to rectify
Impersonation of white individuals as Adam, Jason etc when all i saw was asians. Alot of swearing and the old man in the office is way too loud and foul mouthed. Not a single white individual in sight, definitely impersonation as when I asked to speak to Hollie or Jason, they were somehow never there.. And this happened everytime I visited. Typical scam, avoid company at all costs as they sell dodgy faulty vehicles and believe us customers are blind!! Selling awful warranty and awful customer service.
AVOID!!! at all costs do not give these your money. We bought a car that was so badly damaged and leaking from every place imaginable.Looked amazing from the outside but please do not go near these they are scammers and cowboys.Took me four months and having to hire cars and solicitors to try and get my money back and caused me an enormous amount of stress. They took the car the documents and the keys and still no refund.Only until I threatened to expose them on all social media platforms about their current and all previous alias business names did they finally refund me.It was a hellish experience and would not want anyone to go though what we have been through. Please stick to reputable dealers. If a deal is to good to be true it generally means its not right. These should never be allowed to trade and sell cars.Death traps.Land Rover gave me the pictures of the underside of the car and it was shocking.Engine bolts missing, oil leks galore and the steering was with faults.
This company is not registered with the Motor Ombudsman and does not conduct legally, go and find a dealership that is. I bought a van from Megacarsupermarket/Jagland and a Toyota garage discovered it had a tampered with emissions system and software, which made the van illegal, unable to be driven, and the warranty void. I requested a refund within 30 days of delivery (within my rights under customer service act), and the company have outright refused to engage with me, with no reply. I have sent a formal complaint and letter before action, with no reply, and will need to take them to court to resolve the situation. Very stressful, expensive and time consuming. They own several sister companies that also sell second hand vehicles, so best avoid all of them.
