Review Time
I ordered items just after Christmas and arranged for a Saturday delivery, which never happened. Instead, I had to wait three additional days for my order. When it finally arrived, the boxes were wet and damaged. The chest of drawers had broken runners, and the base/back of the drawer wasn't assembled correctly; the bearings for the runners fell apart. The finish on the back of the drawers looks very cheap and poorly done. Assembling the furniture is quite challenging. I've emailed the support team and still haven't received a response regarding my issues. I called them five times this morning and got no reply. I will not be using this service again, and if you're considering making a purchase, you might want to reconsider!
The quality is extremely disappointing! I bought a pink console/dressing table for my daughter, and the paint on top is peeling off. It seems that the paint wasn't properly sealed, which explains the issue. It's also advertised as real wood, but it feels like the cheapest, softest material. Definitely not worth the price of £149.95. I'm sharing this to prevent others from wasting their money. If you just want a display piece, it might work, but for actual use, it's not suitable. Perhaps that's why it was featured on a morning TV show.

She would use her garage as a miniature warehouse, take 5 parcels a day to the post office after the daily school run (kids in tow!) and answer emails at 2 am. Melody Maison is still very much a family run business, with cousins, brothers, aunties and daughters all working together to offer a personal touch to every single Melody Maison customer. Of course, we have added some fabulous members of staff outside of the Elkington heritage since then, all of whom we treasure just as much! The little things really do make a difference to us: that’s why if you give us a call we won’t put you through to a robot, we just have a Customer Care team here all day, happy to answer any questions you may have.
