I bought the Triflex HX2 Pro vacuum from mieleUSA.com. Insteading of getting a product suitable for the US market, I received a product that’s for the EU.
I contacted their US customer service and was told that the product was supposed to be like that. How ridiculous!
So I asked them to take the product back. Guess what? They said it’s non-returnable.
Miele is FAR WORSE than anything I’ve experienced before.
First my appointment for a refrigerator repair was scheduled to be completed in the UK, rescheduled in the US .
Was to receive a confirming email as to technicians arrival 24 hrs in advance. Email was never sent , called service and was told that my visit was rescheduled to another day without my knowledge. Seems that Miele operates without the slightest concern for customer satisfaction.

Absolutely awful, unconscionable customer "service". We purchased a T1 Excellence eco ventless dryer. It never worked from Day 1 of installation - a plinth filter error would not allow us to run the dryer. We called Miele and scheduled warranty service. After the service company replaced the filter, which fixed the persistent errors, we received a bill. Miele told us that the filter is not covered under warranty even though it was defective from the beginning. All correspondence with the company was characterized with responses along the lines of "we are very sorry for your experience but go pound sand." They do not stand behind their products and I will never purchase another Miele appliance. Just read the litany of reviews on this site.
Miele does not stand by their guarantees. They falsely state "spare parts remain available for at least 15 years." My fridge ($10k+) is 9 years old and they have discontinued a part (heater bank, which costs $100 to replace). My fridge no longer works without that part. They told me there is no suitable alternative and I should buy a new fridge.
The refrigerator is not even a year old and the freezer conked out. Meile employs contract repair people. The closest one to Cincinnati is in Dayton- about an hour away. They only come to Cincinnati once a week. Terrible reliability. Both the appliance and repair service. I I would NOT buy this product again. Before you drop real money on a fancy appliance, due diligence requires an inquiry about who does their repairs and then call them to find out the most frequent warranty work needed AND their location relative to your location.It’s over three weeks with no freezer
"WORST DISHWASHER EVER"...I owned a previous Miele that got fried via electrical surge, waited 5 years to get another only to be the WORST decision ever. First week owned it did a good job, second week through over two months, to this day, it doesn't wash dishes clean. You should NOT have to clean the inside of your dishwasher because it is dirty and should NOT have to rewash dishes after it runs....I've had to do both... and now I have a dishwasher that sits and not usable.... Who wants to rewash dishes and clean the inside out after every use. Miele service is worthless, they don't even try or want to help, just keep giving excuses and putting me off. This dishwasher ruined my brand new Hestan Titanium Pots and Pans, I waited until I got my new dishwasher to use them, only for it to ruin them. DO NOT BUY MIELE, you can get better quality and better service with another brand and not pay out the yingyang for a worthless piece of crap. Miele finally replied to an email when I asked where I could do a review. They thought it was going to be a good one.......hahahaha.....NOT... Still getting the run around and Ferguson Home is just as worthless, this is who I bought it from and will NOT buy anything from them again.
Terrible customer support for appliance repair. Only one company in Cincinnati/dayton Ohio area that can service a broken appliance and they only come to Cincinnati one day a week for refrigerator repair. Was scheduled and was told service technician was going to be sick on my repair date so had to be rescheduled two weeks out. So now this problem is approaching two months to be solved. Wouldn’t buy or recommend Miele again because of this
BADDDD experience, my battery never worked well on the vacuum and after 2 months I finally called to get a replacement and they want me to find a vacuum serive person in my area (WHO HAS TIME FOR THAT) - go get it diagnosed, call back, wait on hold forever and THEN send me a battery and charger??? What kind of service is that, I would NEVER buy from this company again - do not recommend at all. They tried to get me to buy the parts again which is over half the price of the vacuum that I just bought two months ago.
