I ordered a pendant with chain and ear rings. It was positive experience with Milkies. It took 7 weeks to deliver but whenever I had a question about process they got back to me within 24hrs. Thankyou Milkies :)
Had a great experience with Milkies and I absolutely love my breast milk ring. I misunderstood where to send the item and had it shipped to Poland rather than to the UK address first, and the girl who helped me with the issue was great. I was able to send a new sample. And even though their website and all comes had said that it would be too late for Christmas, they still managed to get it to me for early December. Would highly recommend. Jewellery is lovely quality. Thanks so much.
I ordered the DIY circle of life and the shipping was fast. Making the jewelry was easy and the instructions were clear. However, after a few days, a yellow glow appeared on it. After exchanging emails, they told me to wait a while because they said it was a natural process. The yellowing only got worse, so they sent me a new package with a reinforced formula. Unfortunately, it went wrong again. At least the yellowed jewelry was shiny, but the newly made jewelry has a matte finish. I didn't do anything differently in the making process. I emailed Milkies about this, but they say they think the jewelry looks “normal,” even though it doesn't. They say I can send the jewelry back to have a shine applied, but they don't provide any information about where to send it, who will pay for the costs, and so on. After two sets that both turned out wrong, I'm done with it. In the end, I would have preferred to spend that 150 euros at another company where it would have been right the first time. Now I'd rather not wear the jewelry because it's just not pretty.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Lost my breastmilk after sending the last bit I had and when I chased them flippantly said ‘oh just send some more.’ When I told them that was not possible they said I mustn’t have sent it. When I sent photo proof of it being delivered to the right address at the right door (with other parcels with the same address on), they then told me I must have left it at the wrong door followed by ‘or it must have been stolen. I’m still waiting for the refund they said they’d give me, but only after 2 weeks of me asking for it and then deciding ‘oh yeah we definitely can’t find your milk, so I guess now you can have a refund’. Terrible customer service and they have now robbed me of my last possible keepsake. Please don’t waste your money, I’ll now be filing a dispute on the payment with my bank.EDIT after response received - you replied saying you offered to make the jewellery without breastmilk. No such offer was ever made so please do not state something that isn’t true, and can be proven by the email trail.
The present for each woman! It's already the second jewelry that I ordered in order to celebrate the end of breastfeeding of my Kinder. The process is so comfortable with Milkies that I'll do it again. The choice of the jewelry, there's numerous versions and options to make it individual. The material preparation and sending - easy - everything stepwise described in the order confirmation. Every step is complicated and I always feel informed. The process took for me about a month and the huge joy to hold the final product.
I received my order this past Friday and I must say it brought tears to my eyes (like the title says 😅). The entire proces from shipping the breastmilk to the arrival of the finished necklace went very well. I received pictures from the preparing of the breastmilk proces and the finished product so I was kept in the loop the entire time. It made the experience even more special. I wasn't able to feed my son for as long as I had hoped/wished, but this necklace represents the hard work I put into it and the moments I was able to feed my son. Everytime I see this necklace I am reminded of the wonderful feeding moments we did have. Thank you very much for everything and the gorgeous necklace. I will cherish it forever 💜
Such a joke. Charges me £15 for postage of a voucher, then £15 added for shipping the item to them. Then they ship to the wrong address, we have the correct shipping address on invoice, then we have to pay another £15 for them to re post even though they sent to incorrect address. Whole experience has been pretty rubbish. Just money grabbing.
