Motorcycle Live 2024 was an incredible experience! After finding last year's event uninteresting and thinking about skipping it, I was motivated by the new organizers' commitment to improve the show, so I decided to give it another go. They truly fulfilled their promise! The event featured thrilling live performances from well-known commentators, a live rock band, better seating arrangements, and nearly all bike manufacturers showcased impressive displays. The experience was definitely worth the investment.
Motorcycle Live 2024 was an amazing experience! Last year, I found the event rather dull and was hesitant to attend again, but after seeing the new organizers' commitment to enhance the show, I decided to give it another try. They truly delivered on their promise! The event featured exciting live performances from well-known commentators, a live rock band, improved seating, and nearly every bike manufacturer showcased impressive displays. The value for the experience was absolutely worth it.
Had a fantastic day at Motorcycle Live 2024! I attended last year and found it boring, so I wasn't planning to go again, but I read a statement from the new organizers acknowledging my concerns and promising improvements...and they delivered! The event included live shows with top commentators, a live rock band, enhanced seating areas, and nearly every bike manufacturer had large stands. It was genuinely great value for everything offered.
Once again, I traveled a long way to the event, and it was a massive disappointment. Over the years, the event has declined, which I attributed to the pandemic. However, with many new models announced for 2024, I expected a good show for 2023. First, the parking fee was £17.95, significantly higher than previous years. This is outrageous! Second, the entry fee was £31.00, unreasonably high, especially since they no longer offer senior citizen discounts. Additionally, it was frustrating to find that cash payments were not accepted for food and drinks, forcing everyone to use cards. Lastly, many major manufacturers had minimal displays, likely due to high charges from the venue. Honestly, visiting the manufacturers' dealerships would have been more worthwhile and free! To top it off, there was even a stand selling furniture at a motorcycle show! Many attendees I spoke with said they would never return. I am truly appalled by this year's event.
I am fed up with events that only sell tickets through a third party that insists on collecting personal data before allowing a purchase, or else charging extra at the door. My friends and I are opting out this year, as it wasn't like this before personal data became so valuable. I even contacted the event directly, and the representative was rude, implying they didn't want to see me there for expressing my concerns. This behavior is unacceptable and should be boycotted to hit them where it hurts.
