Review Time
I've been with MTH for getting on to 2 years now, When I joined I was given a 3 months discount 99p/mnth, absolutely brilliant service, only one hiccup in all that time, I believe MS3 were doing some repairs, back online in no time at all.
Thursday 12/02/2026 I received an email offering 2.5Gbs instead of my existing 1Gbs, at a price you only dream of, so I enquired, got a positive answer and signed up immediately, very well done MTH.
I’ve been compelled to commit to another 18-month contract, and I wish I had more time to find a different provider! This service is a complete joke! When I report an issue, it takes days for a response, and they just say 'your router is working fine.' So why am I experiencing network outages? Connection speeds are extremely slow, and I've gone days without internet! Using my phone as a hotspot gives me a better connection! Because of all these issues, I haven’t been able to turn on the heating (which requires internet), check my doorbell (also internet-dependent), or control my lights (which use internet too)! The list goes on... maybe a score of 2 is too generous?
Steer clear of this service! If you want a Wi-Fi connection slower than dial-up from the 90s, this is it. I had their supposed 360MB package, which is nothing but a fantasy. It barely handles emails and static content, but streaming anything results in a pixelated, buffering nightmare. I’ve reported these problems numerous times and provided diagnostics, videos, etc. Their last suggestion was to pay a ridiculous fee for a test server that I’d have to return. They refuse to replace faulty equipment, leaving me with a completely useless setup. I now have to rely on my mobile data, which is actually usable.
I cannot recommend this service. The internet speeds, especially upload speeds, were unusable and far from what was promised. I ended up canceling because it simply didn’t work. Despite this, I still had to pay a non-refundable setup fee, was only offered a partial refund for the router, had to cover return postage myself, and was charged for the days the service was active, even though it was unusable. Essentially, I paid for something I couldn’t utilize at all. Initially, I was told I would receive a prepaid return label for the router, but later I was informed I had to pay for postage myself. Overall, a very frustrating experience with unexpected costs and poor communication. I’d advise looking for another provider.

I’ve been with this service for several years and generally rate them very highly. They are usually quick and efficient in resolving technical issues and provide regular updates on progress. I think my latest issue could have been resolved more quickly if I had logged into my laptop sooner when nothing else was functioning.
