Frustrating Communication Regarding Delayed Order

I placed an order for a Christmas gift at the start of December, expecting delivery between the 12th and 15th. I was informed of a delay but received no timeline. Over a month later, I still haven't received my order or any further communication. Edit: I finally received part of my order but had to remove the AV receiver to avoid further delays, which I ordered elsewhere and received the next day.
