Murray Travel made the experience of booking our holiday stress free. Lisa was great at communicating everything, even the small things. When there was an update from our hotel months in advance about something minor, we were contacted to check we were made aware of this and asked if we wanted to make changes to our holiday. Our travel documents were printed and posted to us in plenty of time ahead of our holiday, which also took away the stress of printing our boarding passes etc. The added security of the luggage tags we were given meant that we knew if our luggage went missing Murray Travel had things in place to help with this - thankfully this was not needed! We were sent an email in addition to messages from the airline company to ensure we knew what time our bus transfer would be arriving on our day of departure. The welcome home card after we had returned from our holiday was a nice touch and demonstrated the high levels of customer service with this company. We would not hesitate to use Murray Travel again.
My Husband and I booked a Tour to India. We were given different options for us to consider ie: tour operators and tours. After we decided which tour we would like to do. We went to see Carla at the Inverness office. She was very helpful in explaining everything ( visa applications, money ) and the booking process was straightforward. We were updated at regular intervals about any changes. The holiday was a total success 😁 the hotels were fantastic, the tour guide excellent and the rest of the group were just delightful. We had the best time ever. On the way home we had encountered several delays on our fights and so missed our Heathrow to Glasgow connection. Once again Carla came to our rescue and rearranged our flights whilst we were flying home from India to the uk. Arriving in Heathrow we had an email with all the new flight details. We can’t thank Carla enough for all her work she has done for us and can only recommend her and Murray Travel for your next holiday.
We had an amazing experience booking our 2 week trip to Orlando with Susan Freeman at Murray Travel. She knows the destination very well, and managed to pull together the perfect package to suit our family. We had never been to Orlando and choice is overwhelming when you start to research it. Susan's help was invaluable, and we had a truly fantastic, once in a lifetime, family holiday all thanks to Susan.
Carla at Murray Travel Inverness arranged our holiday to Canada’s west coast, it included a few bucket list trips plus things we would never have thought of.Was a bit apprehensive about flights, luggage and transfers to various destinations and excursions but everything went without a hitch
Our trip involved visiting family in Tasmania involving 8 different flights with a night in Melbourne on the way to Hobart and another night in Melbourne on the return journey. The itinerary and choices of airline and hotel that Tracy put together for us was the best and the information and help beforehand with visas etc was excellent. We gave her the framework and left the detail in her hands.It made life so easy and the trip so enjoyable.
This is my 3rd booking with Alistair from the Forres branch and his customer service is second to none. We are just back from our last Europe Holiday, travelling to 4 different cities and everything went without a hitch. All the hotels were amazing and our train travel between countries was seamless and all organised for us, all we had to do was turn up. Alistair is very chatty and friendly, he listened to all our requirements and nothing was too much trouble. We have just booked through him to go away next year. I would thoroughly recommend Murray Travel for ease and peace of mind. I won't go anywhere else now.

We have just returned from a 7 day trip to Nashville which we booked through Murray Travel. It was our first time booking through a travel agent and I could not believe what a stress free experience it was.When I first phoned Murray Travel, I spoke to Susan (Freeman) who listened to exactly what I was looking for. She came back to me very quickly with suggestions of hotels, flights etc. which we booked not long after. After booking, she was extremely efficient in emailing all our flights and hotel booking paperwork to me, plus giving me extra information regarding transfers etc. Also as promised, all our flight paperwork was received a couple of weeks before we left. Our trip to Nashville was fabulous and everything we hoped for - gorgeous hotel with great flights. I will definitely use Murray Travel again for our holiday bookings and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to friends and family. Thanks again Susan 😊
