The staff have a lot of travel experience and are able to find you your ideal holiday. In this instance Susan Freeman got us fixed up with a week in Prague. They have also organised a Rhine cruise, Belfast city break, and a big trip to India next year. The staff make your travel organisation effortless and stress free.
I have had a brilliant experience with Murray travel in Nairn. I cannot praise them enough.They were efficient, friendly, caring and listened to all our requests and concerns.It was the first time they had booked a holiday to South Korea. They were keen to find out the appropriate information and were keen to hear our experience and information on our return.Booking with Murray travel took all the stress away from booking flights, transfers and hotel as we were not so tech savvy. Tony was especially exceptionally helpful. The rest of the team were very good too. I would not hesitate to book with them again and have recommended them to others.
Carla and her colleagues organised a fantastic trip for us to Portugal and the Azores. Which included surviving the worst that Hurrican Gabrielle could throw at the islands...but our wee traditional-style Azorean stone cottage never even blinked. The islands are stunning but what made it special was the people, the Portuguese must be some of the nicest on Earth, everywhere we went, from drivers to tour guides to hotel staff, all exceptionally helpful and friendly. Learn a few words of Portuguese before you go btw, it pays off!Obrigado a todos!Kevin and Fiona
We have booked a number of holidays with Moray Travel and have always received great customer service and value for money. MT is like a concierge service with the added bonus of a family feel to all they do. Their travel shops -of which there are four in our local area - are nicely appointed and the offer of a hot drink or even a glass of something stronger is always there.Do to illness we had to cancel our latest holiday at very short notice. We reported this to Jen, who has always arranged our holidays. Rather than just referring us to the insurance company she started the claim for us, collected the supporting evidence I needed for the claim just leaving me to complete a medical certificate.Finally, she kept in touch offering advice as the claim process progressed until it was paid in full a few weeks later.To my mind that is the mark not just of the individual, but of the whole team at MT. We are looking forward to booking our next holiday with them soon.
From the get go I was fully supported with putting together what was a very ambitious trip. I told them where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do and from that they were able to make up an outstanding itinerary. Everything went so smoothly, from the flights, airport transfers and excursions. Murray Travel were on hand at anytime to help if needed and provided a comforting saftey net if things were to go wrong which thankfully it didn't. All in all an incredible experience from beginning to end. I would 100% recommend using this company. I am already looking forward to planning my next trip with them.
Having become used to booking holidays+hours of trawling online for about 20yrs it felt a real luxury to have booked this time with Murray Travel,Nairn.The office is tastefully decorated and a very comfortable and relaxed space.Tony and the other team members were all just so pleasant,cheerful and accommodating.Everything possible was done to make our holiday plans go smoothly.
Trust is a huge thing for us as customers. Having done our research, we were so happy to have booked through Murray Travel. This was a once in a lifetime tailormade Safari and Beach Holiday to Tanzania in July 2025. Carla Murdoch listened to our wants and needs, produced an all-encompassing itinerary, coming in under budget for what is the most memorable of experiences.We travelled as a family of 4 with our 15- and 12-year-old-daughters. The accommodation changed every couple of days as we ventured further along the safari route. All accommodation was excellent, the real highlight being the safari lodges we had for 2 nights in the Serengeti, very special indeed. A 3-night trip to Zanzibar at the end of the holiday capped it all off.Flights, transfers, meals and a concierge service all included – stress free travel.Awesome service from amazing people at a trusted company, what more could you ask for? We will be repeat customers and wish we had happened upon Murray Travel long before now.
