Review Time
I've used Musicnotes for several years to purchase sheet music and always been happy with the quality of the music. The last time I logged in they were advertising their Musicnotes Pro, where you pay a monthly fee which includes Pro Credits to use toward "a title of your choice" each month. After reading the details, I decided that would be a good option and signed up. After paying for my subscription, I looked through their extensive catalogue of sheet music to decide which piece to get with my credit, but soon discovered that all but a tiny handful of the songs for my instrument are not included in the offer at all. I honestly couldn't find a single piece I can even use my useless credit for. When I contacted customer service they simply said my membership would also give me a discount on any piece that wasn't included in the offer, but no answer to why they are falsely advertising that Pro gives you a "title of your choice" when clearly that is far from the truth.
I come from a long line of musicians on both my father and mother's side of the family. My mother had full closets and file cabinets dedicated to managing her vast archive of music. In reality, she likely only performed (with my father and their performance choir) a fraction of the songs. With Musicnotes.com I don't have to buy an entire songbook if I am only looking for "that one song". Consequently, I only require a modest book shelf. "The times are a'changin", as Bob Dylan eloquently wrote!
It’s been a while since I have bought sheet music and I tried a few sites but Musicnotes is the best hands down. You can download PDF’s if you pay a little more but the bit I really like is the Sibelius note player in the background. I’m not a brilliant pianist so having this learning aid really helps prior to going to a coach to perfect the performance.
Musicnotes, com is a quick and easy way to obtain music from a vast inventory. Great arrangements, usually available for all popular instruments and in a variety of keys. The price is reasonable and, with a premium membership, copies are unlimited,
Musicnotes was a very useful and reasonably pricedway to source and purchase song copies.Unfortunately recently the web page has been drasticallyAltered.Gone is the triple versions of each song.Gone is the optional chose of performers/stylesThe web-page now looks so spartan
