They have seemingly decided that customer service didn't matter anymore. Their content flagging system will flag over nonexistent issues and when you need to email them to get anything clarified and fixed you are stuck waiting literal weeks to hear ANYTHING. It's genuinely baffling how bad their service has gotten.
What is the bad with TuneCore, first dont have human,or any customer service like any scammer company. Don't allow to Spanish speakers register musics that contains the letter Ñ.That is not a decoration it is essential on a day to day life. and can't be change, they don't even care to talk about this matter. The Ñ is widely use in the Spanish language. It is not acceptable that they ignore this when we have to pay a very high price for a membership.🤬🤬🤬🤬
TuneCore is a SCAM!!!!!!
They take your money and reject your song without any explanation whatsoever.
They especially are biased against you if you use AI-Assisted content.
TuneCore is supposed to be a distributor, not a gatekeeper to the music that comes their way.
Absolutely pathetic!!!!!!!!
Finally responded. And actually allow a human to check my facts about my ownership of my music and corre t things. I appreciate the opportunity. I want to do business here. I just want to let you know. I am rerecording alot of my songs that were posted before under CDbaby. I made them pull them down after they tried to rip me off. 4 years with them until I found out.So I understand why there was confusion with my song..
I now have 28 songs, which are Two Albums, with 14 tracks each. I have also now published them all with TuneCore. I look forward to the future with TuneCore. Thank You for being available to us.
I was very happy of Tunecore months ago...but ... in December Tunecore flagged me because of illegal streams on Spotify notwithstanding I never bought streaming and above all I removed the songs from Spotify months ago.
I reported this error many times without a real answer that could explain this problem.
I explained my reasons and - last but not least - there were not any streaming peak on Spotify Artist.
I closed my account and moved to another distributor.
Extremely disappointing customer service. I upgraded my plan from Rising Artist to Professional to speed up the response time from 3 days to 1 day, yet my request ticket is still taking 3 days? I’m planning to switch to another platform and won't be returning.
My experience has been quite positive overall, with only a few minor issues, all of which were on my side. As this is my first attempt at producing and releasing my music publicly, the service has made the process of managing releases very simple! One suggestion for improvement would be to introduce options for cancelling a submission or pausing and resubmitting it after it's been sent for release. I've learned early on to ensure everything is perfect before proceeding. Other than that, I have no complaints.
I'm rating this experience with 2 stars. I submitted my music, and while they seem to appreciate it now, two of the tracks had issues that I resolved. I followed their instructions and replied to the designated email, expecting a prompt response, especially since I'm on a higher tier. However, it's been a week since my last email, and I still haven't received any updates. I paid for a yearly service, but at this pace, it feels like it will take ages to get a reply. Submitting a ticket has also proven to be ineffective.
I sought a service to distribute music in Russian-speaking regions and attempted to rename my releases in Russian. However, I was compelled to revert to the original English titles. I was then pressured to change my name, and the service informed me that I needed to upgrade my plan to accommodate two names. This is absurd. Additionally, the payment model is unreasonable. Consequently, I had to cancel my subscription.
