Review Time
We purchased a white set with bamboo handles/lids and after about 5 weeks of use the lower part of the handles which are closest to the eye of the stove burnt and looked horrible and the inside of the white/off-white pans stained very badly. This is a lovely set and is very attractive but it has design flaws with the handles being angled so low that they open flame on our gas stove burns them when cooking, even if you're really careful they burn, and the stains are awful. I did contact customer service who promptly offered to replace them and shipped me a new set within 3 days. It arrived yesterday as promised - for this reason I give three stars bc that was surprising. Would not purchase again. Does not last.
I ordered 2 sets of the carote pots and pans through walmart.com when they arrived one set of pans was in a box the other set was unboxed the set that was unboxed didn't have handles so I emailed walmart and they put me in touch with someone and we emailed back and forth I sent pictures of how my sets arrived and told the lady I needed 2 handles after waiting 2 weeks after 0 contact from the first email, I emailed the lady asking about the status of the handles she replies with how many handles were needed, I returned the email with the screen shots of the emails I sent to her and she replied too and I said once again 2 handles were needed then I said I guess it's a problem to get 2 handles to use so I would be returning them back to Walmart and that's exactly what I did!
I simply cannot fault these pans so far.I was so impressed with the small frying pan that I bought the large lidded one as well. I bought the CAROTE Non Stick Frying Pan 20cm Induction Frying Pan as it is PFOA Free, All Stoves Compatible in White Granite, then went back for the large saute Pan with lid. I'm thinking of getting the set.The look expensive, they cook everything perfectly, there's no harmful nonstick chemicals, hardly need any oil at all.Nothing sticks to them. They are not dishwasher compatible, but that doesn't matter as they're so easy to clean. Very impressed
I have purchased three complete collections of these pans and I LOVE them so very much. I also just recently bought their knive block and knives and I love them as well. I have had them almost a year (on my pans), no scratches or staining at all. I store them in stacks as advertised and hand wash them with screaming hot water and Platinum Dawn!!
