Review Time
i've spent thousands of credits across 5 videos correcting ai mistakes and some scenes remain unfixed. You can tell the ai's native language isnt english or its really dumb or the developers have added an error margin in to purposefully create mistakes. Trying to get it to say one sentence is met with a single word or hgyu nuy uii sentences
Update: With the Wonder package i was able to make 7 lyric videos and still have 20k to spare so saved tons of money instead of getting someone to do them for me. Just prepare to spend an hour per video replacing images with correct lyrics and waiting for it to re-create the images for a nearly 5 minute video. The quality was excellent as finished product..
I advise you to use the preview story board feature as its deducted from the create video and it'll only cost you 15 credits per image adjustment compared to 100 credits for video adjustment.
Once again, I'm back here to express my opinion. I also encountered a few problems, but thanks to the prompt support of the support team, the issues were resolved quickly and efficiently. I am especially pleased with the support from the support team.
I would like to take this opportunity to write a few lines to express my support for OpenArt, especially for the support team, who resolved issues faster than I imagined.
Sincerely,
They scam hard, I took a 1-year subscription because they give free generations. Then they disable them before I manage to use them. They should be available for one year. If I knew, I would not pay for a year but just for a month.
The credit system feels very unfair. A 3-minute music video can cost around 6,000 credits, and most generated segments still need editing, which uses even more credits. I understand AI isn’t perfect and will make mistakes, but in this case it almost feels intentional, as if the system is designed to make users spend more money.
OpenArt is a ph****g ripoff! I have both OpenArt and Dzine yearly subs. I have screenshots to share however no upload option here.
OpenArt: I2V - Seedance 1.5 Pro - start and end frame - 'prompt' - 1080 5s - sound on = 325 Credits.
Dzine: I2V - Seedance 1.5 Pro - start and end frame - 'prompt' - 1080 5s - sound on = 112 Credits.
And even with the identical settings, within OpenArt prompt adherance is far worse than Dzine. I have NO idea how the fudge that can happen but it does. OpenArt is a waste of time and money and on top of that they have a policy of no refunds.
Buyer Beware!
Customer service (CS) was pretty efficient to solve a problem related to a plan upgrade error on my part.
In my opinion I would not need to make contact with CS if the option to abort, change or correct was contained within the page itself.
Even with that the CS response was reasonably fast
I rated this app a 2* primarily due to its effective image-to-text functionality. However, if you need videos with accurate lip sync and the app's capability to respond to well-crafted prompts, I recommend avoiding it. I'm truly let down by this app, especially after hearing positive feedback.
Your credit balance gets wiped every month at renewal, so if you're not vigilant, it's gone. It requires too many credits to accomplish anything worthwhile, and the editing tools are ineffective. By the time I've invested a lot of credits and time correcting an AI error, it would have been more cost-effective to create the whole image anew. Customer support is only available via email after navigating a frustrating FAQ, and it takes days to receive a reply that fails to address your issue. Ten days later, I'm still waiting for a resolution. I'm done and moving to a different platform.
It seems like the service intentionally provides unsatisfactory results to deplete your credits. I repeated the same process as before, but the outcomes were just poor, and then the chat prompts me to upgrade to a pricier subscription. The platform claims to offer numerous videos and images, yet I haven't encountered a single model that meets expectations. It feels as though they generate less effective and costlier results, hoping you'll achieve better outcomes only by purchasing more expensive options.
I utilized a service to create a story and subsequently canceled my monthly subscription after finishing my project. To finalize my 4-minute video, I was required to pay an additional $56 for extra credits on top of my $14 subscription. I decided I no longer wanted to use their services. After canceling my subscription, my workspace indicated a Free plan with only 4 credits remaining. To my surprise, a month later, I found two additional charges of $14 each on my credit card. Upon contacting their support team, I was informed that my auto-renewal had been canceled. I clarified that I had canceled it myself previously, yet I was still charged for two additional months without receiving any credits (the plan was supposed to provide 4000 credits monthly). I requested a refund, but I never received a response. Eventually, I disputed the charges with my credit card company, and they credited the disputed amount back to me.
