I've been using MyTello for over a year now and I'm very satisfied with their service and glad I found this possibility to make phone calls from anywhere on the planet to just about anywhere. I use the web site (instead of the local numbers) and so far it works very well. I'm glad to have found a way to circumvent the extortion roaming rates of the cell companies.
As a long time customer my first satisfaction is all because of Martin who replies to emails promptly & answers questions accurately which really helps & doesn't let customers in limbo like some other businesses. 2: the credit doesn't expire even without activity. 3: the calls are affordable 4: after my last payment it was automatically credited into my account.
This is an outstanding and cost-effective method for making calls abroad. My sister in the U.S. doesn't use an Android, and the company charges £1.75 per minute unless you have an international saver plan with them. A friend recommended it, and now many people I know rely on it. I believe it costs around 1p per minute to the U.S., plus a 5p connection fee. Truly excellent.
I believe the app is a solid concept. However, I experienced a frustrating situation when I was left waiting in a queue with the service for about 10-15 minutes, only to be disconnected. It's unclear whether the disconnection was caused by the platform or the service itself, but it certainly wasted my time and resources. If you can reach out directly, that seems to work much better.
While traveling internationally, I can easily call my elderly mother, who lacks internet access. The calls are affordable and straightforward, making it ideal for those who aren't very tech-savvy. My mother remains unaware of my travels, and the call quality surpasses that of standard phone calls.
