My daughter (8) has been getting the My Zoo Box (Zoology Club)for several years now. She still runs to the door when her box arrives each month! I love it bc it keeps her busy with the activities and recipe as well as fills her animal obsessed brain with tons of facts she can share with her friends. I dont normally post reviews but I really like this box and I think its a fantastic one for kids that love animals.

I usually don't write many reviews but I was extremely happy with My Zoo Box!!Finding a subscription box that actually keeps a high energy child engaged while being educational is hard to find!! The best part of this is that it doesn't end when the box is empty. The activities often encourage kids to look at the wildlife in their own backyard or parks. We also follow them on Facebook and they post informative video's which engage kids even more!!
My two kids (5 and 3) absolutely LOVE every Zoo box they have ever received. They are packed with age-appropriate learning, activities, and my kid's favorite - the matching stuffy! The boxes keep my kids engaged and curious for more. We utilize the boxes over and over again, and it seems that each time we discover and learn something new.I highly recommend My ZooBox for every animal-loving kiddo!
MyZooBox is my favorite animal learning box for my kids. My favorite part is that you can get a sibling box and it comes with 2 sets of everything. You can also adjust your box to their learning and development level. If there are any issues that come up with your box, their support team is on top if it and they always make it right. I cannot recommend this learning tool enough!
The contents of the boxes are wonderful. The items all tie well together and my granddaughters LOVE them. Unfortunately, customer service is lacking. I've asked that my two granddaughters' boxes be shipped together, but this has never happened. And we have drama every month as one box arrives well before the other. My 3-yo granddaughter's box NEVER ships in the first two weeks of the month. As anyone can imagine, it's hard to explain to a 3-yo why her box is not here, but her sister's is. We have them wait until both have arrived, which then means both girls are asking constantly about the boxes. And it always take multiple attempts reaching out for help to get attention on this. I really don't want to cancel the subscriptions because the girls love the contents, but the lack of customer service is very discouraging.
If I could rate zero stars I would. I was told my next box would be free and I get charged 35.00 without having even received my first box for what I was charged for. I also bet when I get the 1 sibling pack it won’t have 2 stuffed animals in it. The 35.00 was for some renewal fee when my 6 month subscription hadn’t even ended! Do not purchase or use a credit card so you can dispute the fandom charges you will end up seeing on your statement.
While the boxes are fun and informative. The crafts can be confusing and sometimes the pictures of the finished craft is either non-existent or extremely small to see. The animals we received were kind of lack luster. For 6 months we got nothing but gray animals. Actually I believe one was a black monkey. They were all different species but my kids would gripe “another gray one?”. I suggest switching them up. I think the biggest downfall is the shipping. Sometimes it would take 5-6 weeks to get our box due to it being shipped in bulk. It just wasn’t consistent monthly arrivals like we see in our Crunch Labs or Kiwi co subscriptions. I will say if your kids love animals, this is good option, however, it wasn’t for us by the time the 6 months was up.
We loved this company from the beginning, but 1 customer service representative took our love to the next level! One of our dogs ate the tail to one of the stuffies and we emailed in to try and buy a new one. The rep said my “zoologist couldn’t have a tailless stingray” and sent us a new one for free! So grateful to Laura and company for going above and beyond!
