Review Time
Appalling purchased a one off case of 6 bottles of red wine. Little did I know on Christmas day they would take a further £25 to add credit onto my account. Looked on subscriptions nothing was there. Looked at previous emails couldn't see anywhere that I had signed up to anywhere. stay clear. Not an honest company with clear intentions. Contacted customer services that told me I can't have my funds back.
Decided to order 12 bottles of mixed reds and white wines for Xmas and was looking forward to sampling a wide range of wines that I would not otherwise have chosen.All went well with box arriving , attractively packed with individual labels as a guide to each bottle so far so good .First up was a nicely chilled white named that having poured out a small glass was forced to spit out in the kitchen sink ! As a 68 year old man that is not a wine connoisseur but enjoys the mid range supermarket offerings this stuff was absolutely disgusting and un drinkable , not even good enough as cooking wine. Cork returned and decided to give NAKED WINES selection another tasting.A red this time randomly picked from this 12 bottle case and blow me down , yes another mouthful of dreadful wine that like its predecessor went into the sink. This bottle was also corked and returned to its case .I am flabbergasted at how awful these two bottles of wine are and the last time I poured such poor quality wine down the sink was in 1984.Whilst I was not paying top dollar for the box I was expecting to be able to drink it and I would challenge anyone to drink either or both of these wines. This is a genuine review and I await feedback from Naked Wines
Sadly, these folks have horrible order processing and customer service. An on-line order I made with a delivery address in New York was bizarrely dispatched to Florida, even though the error was brought to Naked's attention within one hour of receipt of the incorrect order confirmation. Naked's solution? I had to wait almost a week for the Florida shipment to return before Naked would send wine to the correct New York address.
