1st December I decided to try NakedWines to buy a large case for Christmas presents - said delivery 6th December. Nothing arrives, I get in touch, the apologise give me a credit and assure me it will be there a day or two late. Using the credit I order my own Christmas wines. Due to arrive the 12th December. Each day I check and the 1st delivery does not arrive, after 2 more days I get back to them. They then tell me the tracking isn’t valid, and my box has not been sent but don’t worry we will send it VIPThat day I get 2 notifications to say both orders have been packed and sent. Looking on the app on Monday it said they were both out for delivery - nothing Tuesday - both out for delivery - nothing Wednesday - just checked, both say out for delivery on the app. Yet on the detailed tracking it says they have yet again been delayed and aren’t even at the local sorting office. So not going to arrive on time, leaving me with no presents for family. This is apparently WITH VIP delivery service…L the same courier I received a parcel from yesterday which I ordered 2 days before. It’s now 12 days from placing my order and there’s no sign any of them will ever be delivered. 12 days since they took my money. 3 guarenteed to be delivered today dates set and missed, 4 days I ve sat in waiting all day only for nothing to arrive. And being given false information along the way. Disgraceful.
Been an "Angel" for about 5 years. Good wine at good prices, very few realy bad ones and they will give a full refund if you ask. Maybe not for you if you are a connoisseur but if you like good wine at prices (ranging mostly from $12-$20/btl) that are below store bought prices it might be for you. The "market" prices that they quote are meaningless but dont get hung up on that, compare Naked Wine prices with similar quality wines for sale locally. We also like having a record online of what we have purchased so that we can reorder wines we like. It's not a membership scheme and it's not a scam. Fedex deliverys can be a problem however as you need to be present to recieve the wine.
I have just cancelled my naked wine subscription as it's to expensive for me However the £35.00 credit I have on my account won't be refunded. It will be held in case I rejoin ! . This is totally wrong . Iff I don't get a refund I will take this further as this practice is a scam !
I got $100 voucher from them, and went ahead to order. I paid $75 for the values of $175- Seemed like a good bargain, as they also added another $20 credit into my account (that I didn't know I had one), thank you for ordering wines with them. I went again ordered another 6 bottles hoping to use my$20 credit. It arrived and without my knowledge they went ahead taking $40 of my bank account ( that I didn't know they still have access)! When I called up they said it was a monthly fee account. I refuted that I had no knowledge of the account fee and was not planning to join. They said they sent an email (that you'd think it is just another promotional email), to let me know that 'THE FUN BEGINS"... is just to let me know about the account fee. I read and read and there is nothing about the account fee is to be taken out. It is all WRONG!!! They cannot just do take money out without warning like that. Tried to dispute the transaction but I dont have a high hope. It is a thieve and principally wrong and bad business practice. Recommended going to other retailers.
