Nala has been a great app no doubt but the issue I'm having with Nala is the reason why they will prefer you to add money from your bank account to their system before they can process it for sending.
Nala has held my money on two occasions now one was 800€ in June 2024, which took them one good month to release the money and another one now is 950€ in February 2026 and they have not given any positive feedback about it. Like what right do they have to cease people's hard earned money without a reason.

Many other apps take money directly from your bank account and sends it and if it's not processing it won't be deducted from your bank account but Nala does theirs the other way round. That's dubious for crying out loud.

Nala has to change their policies on this before this gets to the public domain and to the authorities that matters.

Refund Process Needs Improvement

The delay in getting my money back after a transfer from Germany to Kenya bounced was excessive. Other services, like competitors, are able to refund instantly, while it took around 12 hours for my funds to be returned. I urge the company to enhance the refund process!

Thoroughly disappointed with the experience

I am completely dissatisfied with every part of this process. I thought it would be superior to others, but I was completely wrong. If I had the option to stop using their services, I would have done so long ago. The staff appears uninformed and unaware of the ongoing issues! The transition I initiated five days ago is still pending for no apparent reason. This is simply unacceptable.

Frustrating communication issues

Frustrating communication issues. If their representatives can't understand English or follow a coherent script, how can they operate internationally? It's infuriating. The most aggravating part is they will manipulate the situation and respond with polite phrases. It's baffling.

Utterly disappointed with every aspect. I thought it would be better than others, but I was completely wrong. If I had the option to stop using their services, I would have done so ages ago. Transaction issues and poor support

I made a transaction that was marked successful, yet four days later, the payment hasn't been received by the other party. A transaction made on the same day to the same account went through. Reaching customer support is frustrating, as they only refer to my last conversation without providing further assistance. I had to initiate another transaction just to get through to support, but the situation remains unchanged. I'm very upset with this poor service and the lack of resolution.
