They helped and knew what they were doing from the beginning. Good explanations throughout. Always kept upto date. Affordable price plans and an understanding, polite, considerate customer service on the phone. Being self employed this helped massively. I'm still on the road driving with their help.
I cannot thank Mr Philip Lucas and indeed, the whole team at NML enough, for assisting me with my case.They were able to have the charges against me dismissed.Losing my licence would have been a significant problem for me as I need to be able to drive to do my job and indeed, my whole career could have been at stake.Would highly recommend.

Beware of NML. They are the absolute worst solicitors you can employ.1. Nearly all of the 5 star reviews are clearly fake. Just look at them.2. The people you speak to before employing them are basically just salespeople who have every rebuttle down to a tee and will tell you everything you want to hear to get you to pay them for their services (then leave you in the dark until your court date most likely - like with me)3. They basically just hope that the police made some sort of error in the procedure to get you a no-guilty verdict. (Onetrick ponies)4. When you try to speak to them, you will be through to an outsourced reception service who know nothing.5. They will not actually represent you at court, they hire an outsourced lawyer for this (a poor one at that).6. They will demand more fees every step of the way.7. The accounts team will demand fees and send threatening letters for fees not even owed.My experience was that I was told they will get the evidence from the police station and I needed to hire them ASAP before this evidence is potentially deleted - this is a lie. (Edit - in response to NMLs response. I paid for services on 12th of January and they didn’t contact the police until 20th of February for the evidence to be handed over. So my statement stands correct, they did in fact tell a bold face lie to get paid)the police have no obligation to hand over the evidence until 28 days before the trial - not the initial court date where you plead not guilty. They lied to me about this quite a few times.I decided not to utilise their services after the first court date, because the lawyer, (NML will not let me name), assigned to my case gave me no confidence whatsoever in being able to represent me well. Also, I had already clocked on to the lies told previously. I spoke to someone from NML who mentioned that the police are required to hand over evidence 1 week before this court date - which was just completely incorrect.Now they are demanding fees for me to not use their services anymore. The accounts team hung up on me as I was trying to figure out why I owed them money - which they couldn't justify.They have hired a 3rd party company, DEBTCO LIMITED, Company No. 12867831 to try and get me to pay the "debt" of £700+. This is not a debt which is owed, as the caseworker I spoke to from NML even admitted on the phone. This is what the cost for further services would be. But their tactic to get people to pay them more money is to use a debt collection company to send letters to your house. I didn't agree to them sharing my information with 3rd party companies either. It is just more scare tactics and money-grabbing intentions. They are now suggesting I pay half of the £700 and we call it quits basically and keep trying to take my review down. Which makes me think a) they don’t value their service if they are supposedly “owed money” but are happy to half it at an instant.b) there must be many bad reviews that they successfully get taken down.I would avoid National Motoring Lawyers (NML) at all costs!
I Would recommend NML to Absolutley anyone with a motoring case looking to combat or at least mitigate prosecution.My particular case I was at a heavily disadvantaged state from the off, the prosecution had evidence in the form of CCTV and also police witness. Laura Heywood my court representative is an absolute magician and for reasons beyond my understanding managed to get the entire case dismissed and legal costs covered by the prosecution and saving my driving license and thus so employment prospects. Cannot thank you enough!
My wife came across NML as I was arrested for drunk in charge of a vehicle when she was looking for a suitable firm and a lawyer who could pick up my case and give us a clear indication of how we could defend it. She came across Sandra Cooper and strongly recommended me to contact Sandra. I called Sandra and I was immediately convinced that Sandra could win my case for me. I immediately signed up and concluded the formalities so that Sandra could start working on my case. NML were very efficient and very clear about their charges which I thought were reasonable given the market rates (trust me, I contacted many firms and I was asked to pay a lump sum by most of them without any clarity on where I stood in terms of winning the case). Sandra appointed Amanda as the case worker who was great in her prompt and friendly communication. They made it feel like a breeze. Sandra did the grunt work in building the case, Amanda assisted and Richard Berman represented me in Court who did a fantastic job. I must say that within the first 30 mins of the trial, I was convinced that I'd win. It was a great experience. Sandra was very clear in her communication and legal strategy. She also believes in the quality of her work. Glad to have found her, glad to have dealt with NML.
AVOID SAVE YOUR MONEYBefore going forward with this firm when explaining my situation I was told I have a very good chance and case of winning and I wouldn't be loosing my licence, whilst been given this hope I asked for everything to be explained I had numerous of calls giving me all these explanation and procedures and what the firm will offer and how my case is strong. Once being hopeful I decided to go ahead as I was really happy and grateful that I was told I would be supported all the way, BUT was I wrong once payment was discussed I was told I can do a payment plan as I explained my situation and I was told I have nothing to worry about and a payment plan would be put into place. Once the 1st Initial payment was taken out I stopped getting calls from the people who said they was going to help and got continuous calls from the payment team several times almost being harassed asking me to complete all payment when I was told different and was told this would be taken on a payment plan. I asked to speak to the person representing me, so we can prepare for the case but no calls was made I kept calling as the court date was approaching and I havent heard anything, the day before the case came and I called asking what is happening you call for payments but nothing is happening in regards to my case they said someone will call me. It was getting late in the day no one has called eventually someone called who said he will be representing when a women was dealing with the case in the beginning. Anyways the male that I was speaking to had no idea of my case and didn't know what he was talking about and said I might as well pled guilty as I won't win and that's all he had to say and refused to even prepare for court as he said I have nothing to prepare for. All they wanted was the money and they will say anything to trap you so they can get paid but have no interest in helping you.
