They are easy to dissolve, even when I run a short wash cycle. The strips do not leave a tacky film on the drum of the washing machine. I have used them on bedding, work shirts, and sporting clothes. All of them were clean and smelled nice when I took them out. Additionally, I appreciate not having to carry heavy bottles. The boxes can be stored in a small drawer, ideal for a small apartment such as mine. Delivery to my home in the Netherlands was efficient.
