I recently bought 2 new bikes. A Specialized Tarmac SL8 and a Core Polvere R gravel bike and during my purchase I immediately went online and ordered a Neat-Component Garmin mount for my seat posts. I love the instant stability and cleanness that they provide. For me it’s a must have for my bikes and they definitely work better than O-rings.
Excellent Garmin radar mount. I ride a 2015 Specialized Venge Pro. Used many other mounts that I wasn't really impressed with dealing with the rubber bands, or bulky mounts that just looked horrible. The installation was incredibly easy, the mount is slick and aerodynamic. It holds up extremely well. I have their old style mount and the new upgraded mount. The newer mount is a bit thicker and more robust than the old one... although I didn't have any issues with the old mount.. but wanted the newer version nonetheless. I have a bike group called NPC Racing, and almost ALL of our members have switched to these mounts. I also got an additional mount for the race placards. The fit is tight and spot on! There was no slippage or breaks during any of my rides, and the radar stayed inplace locked in at all times. Have never had an issue. I ride just over 6K miles per year with these mounts and have no complaints. I just wish they would make some aero bar 3D mounts to install lights under my handle bars on either side. *hint *hint...
I recently purchased and received a rear light/radar mount for my gravel bike.My Pinarello Grevil was not a cheap bike nor was the light/radar combo. The light comes with a cheap rubber band type mount. Did not want to use its mounts on my bike.I ordered a seatpost mount from Neat, specific for my bike. It’s worthy of an expensive bike. 100% would I buy again for any future bikes.
Purchased a custom fit Varia light mount for my Cervelo P-Series. The mount arrived and the angle was wrong, it either pointed downward or upward. Contacted Mathias and he claimed they couldn’t match all the angles for the different sizes, which means this is just a universal fit mount, but it gets worse. After expressing my displeasure with the unusable mount, he asked if my bike had disc brake (all Cervelo P-Series are disc brake). He stated the newer version with disc brakes were not compatible and it only worked with rim brakes. I explained there was only a disc brake model and he went into the website and edited the title and description to say it was for a Cervelo P (not P-Series) and listed it only fits rim brake models. So at this point, he started to gaslight me stating I purchased the wrong part, ignoring his error. I’ve been refused a refund and will be using other avenues to obtain one. Also, the race number flag holder is poorly designed and doesn’t mount properly. Avoid this scammer!
