Avoid at all costs! Car is not as advertised with extremely costly faults and bits in the glove box. Extremely nice till you bank transfer deposit then a different story! Didn’t want to speak to the finance company as his company not registered! Asked me to get a bank loan instead! Refuses to give my £500 back, stopped even reading messages! Another customer he was moaning about buying a bmw saying how he didn’t want to deal with his finance company to as doesn’t want to give his details to them! I’m fighting for my deposit back as it’s taken me a long time to save and 2 days before Christmas he’s causing so much upset please avoid

Do not use this company !!I put a £2000 deposit on a £20k caravan I was led to believe was in good condition with no issues on our initial viewing. Upon collection I had it inspected by a friend who Is a caravan dealer himself to make sure the caravan was as described by Mike and his company ( this is our first caravan so had no Idea what to look for) and upon his findings found damp repairs to the from window along with blue damp staining under the sofa area. Peeling and mismatched wall coverings. No habitation check when asked to provide one on collection which you would think was standard when buying a caravan worth 20k. Last service was 4 years previous also so had no idea If the caravan had been checked and more importantly safe for me and my young family . We decided as there were issues we were not made aware of and the lack of basic safety checks we no longer wanted to buy this, our first caravan with clear indications of damp, no safety checks and no current service and was told by Mike he would return my £2000 deposit. This was 8 weeks ago and I have been ignored, Letters sent and no response.Mike blocked my mobile number and whatsapp to stop all communication. We even offered to accept half of the deposit to cover any of his costs and this too was ignored. We have now applied to small claims court to retrieve our money for a caravan that was unchecked, not serviced and was mis sold to us as it wasn’t as described and clearly had major damp issues that was not disclosed to us when taking our deposit.Steer well clear of these con men.. be warned!!!Details below why it is so important for the dealer to provide a habitation check....( maybe not providing this like most other dealers do is simply masking hidden problems they do not want the potential customer to see)Yes, it's highly recommended, almost essential, to get a habitation check (or pre-purchase inspection) when buying a caravan, even from a dealer, as it's not legally required but crucial for identifying hidden issues like damp, gas leaks, and electrical faults, protecting your safety, warranty, and resale value. Think of it as a thorough survey for your holiday home on wheels, checking gas, electrics, water, dampness, and structure to prevent costly surprises and ensure safety. Why it's important:Safety: Checks for gas leaks, CO poisoning risks, electrical hazards, and fire risks.Damp & Water Ingress: Identifies hidden damp, a major issue in sandwich-built caravans, before it becomes severe.Warranty & Value: Maintains warranty validity and enhances resale value.Early Problem Detection: Catches small issues before they turn into expensive repairs. What's included (typically):Gas system inspection (safety certificates).Electrical system check (mains & leisure battery).Water system check (taps, pumps, tanks).Damp check (moisture levels in walls/floor).Bodywork & ventilation checks.
Had our caravan for two weeks so they could make sure everything was working when we collected it. When we got home we found the toilet was full of shit and piss. Went on holiday only to find out fridge did not work or the cooker, plus the toilet flush did not work and leaked every where. They also claimed to have put a 12mth warranty on it. That was a lie too. When we took it back they did not care, after all they had our money. They did replace the fridge with something alot older than ours. When we complained they said take it or leave it, as that's it. We have been lied to from the start, it seems that others have found out what they are really like to. When we asked for our old fridge back they claim they can't find it, they swore you can not get the parts for it. That was another lie. They sell on ebay and facebook and if you complain they block you. They are with out doubt the biggest bunch of liars and cowboys we .where unlucky enough to come across. Check out their reviews on Google. We are not the only ones too have fallen foul of them.
We brought our 1st caravan from New 2 you and we did this completely online and over the phone. Both Mike and Leo went well out of their way to help us.They were up front and honest about what we were purchasing and included multiple videos of the van. They also delivered the van exactly as promised and helped us setup.Highly recommended.
Reading the reviews and the negatives out there the only time people would be happy if the buy a brand new caravan at new2you they stock a good range of caravans we had a look at a few and went for the caravan we were liked, yes there are marks that are wear and tear we expect that the caravan was 2018 the delivery from eardisley to the caravan site in Somerset was top class also Leo talked us through everything we needed to know Kind regards Joe
Never traded with these people because ....I always pop a low maintenance email query to a vendor especially before first trade, as a test case. The expectation is some timely meaningful even encouraging response. They never responded at all, ever, so there we are. The contact email address was not in their web domain so double sus. Thus 1 star as no zero stars.
We went to look at some caravans but were surprised to notice that one of the ones he had on his forecourt was one we had seen advertised on eBay and had viewed ourselves the week earlier. We didn’t buy the caravan off eBay as it was full of damp under the seats but on the sales forecourt at NEW2YOU it mentioned no damp and was £2000 more than we could have bought it for, and we could have got it cheaper as the man would have knocked some off due to the damp problems. If you look at this companies reviews you are advised to steer clear and I can say this also.
