Absolutely con-artist company, This company is big fraud, please stay away from this company at all cost. People working for this company having great issue getting paid. very in-human company and people working in this company are absolutely fraudters
Called today about non-delivery and incorrect supplements being delivered and spoke to Jane Moss who spent as much time as was needed looking into the account, proof of deliveries, updating the delivery instructions and helping setup online access. Hopefully the papers will resume as they were before being delivered like clockwork.
Delivery is reliable. Paper is delivered between 8am - 8.30am. However I preferred the delivery time when it was earlier between 5.30am and 6am, as I am an early riser.
NewsTeam are totally incompetent. Deliveries are frequently late and if you have a holiday break they invariably fail to restart deliveries. It’s easier (and cheaper) to deal via a publisher than direct. NewsTeam are reluctant to take responsibility for missing sections of papers and getting a credit is hard work. Unless you have no other option, DON’T USE!
DO NOT use this company to deliver your papers unless you want to fall out with all
your neighbours. We don’t use this company but someone a few houses down does and it is persistently getting delivered to us instead despite several phone calls, most of which don’t get responded to or you get put on hold for hours. They deliver at 5am, activating the ring doorbell waking the house up and on occasions even ringing the bell. Three times this week so far! Their customer service is appalling at best and usually non existent when trying to contact to prevent this happening. Avoid at all costs!
Delivery mostly reliable, occasionally miss a day. On 22nd January we should have received two newspapers. When nothing arrived I rang up, to be told they had been delivered 2 miles away! I emailed to ask for a refund but got no reply, and the next bill did not include a refund. I then rang on 9th February. Spoke to Lilla who was very helpful, apologised, and made sure the next bill would include the refund.
Repeated problems with my elderly parents newspaper delivery over the past 6 months or so. My mum speaks to customer services often, and is promised it will be resolved but it never is. As a disabled customer she have limited options but feel she has no other option to cancel her subscription with this company. Very disappointing.
This company has been a complete letdown in terms of how they treat their employees. My son began his job on New Year's Eve. His first shift was a struggle. After setting up the app, he managed to deliver about 10 papers before it crashed. He spent two hours in the freezing cold trying to reach someone for help. Eventually, they agreed to process the images themselves, allowing him to continue. However, he later received a call accusing him of theft and taking a 'joyride' around the area at 6 AM! Despite feeling upset, he finished the shift. On New Year's Day, he tried again, arriving at 4:10 AM as instructed. The app malfunctioned again, wasting more of his time, but at least he wasn't verbally abused this time. On his final day, he arrived at 4:10 AM, but the newspapers didn't arrive until nearly 5 AM. After getting the papers, the app crashed once more, and he received another hostile call accusing him of theft—when he attempted to explain, he was dismissed as a liar. To make matters worse, he spent £20 of his own money on papers that were promised to be reimbursed. After two days of such treatment, he decided to leave, only to be told he wouldn't be paid for his work because he hadn't given 28 days' notice. Despite being on a probationary period where they could have let him go for any mistakes, he was penalized for leaving due to their failures. There was no apology for the mistreatment or for the lack of support. I have never witnessed such poor working conditions! This company is a disaster; protect yourself and avoid working for them!
