Do not use them! I ordered nasal sprays with 2 days shipping for 30 bucks more because they need refrigeration. They arrived 5 days later with a warm mini ice pack. And guess what... the info@nootropic for customer service... no response. Total sham I am out $150
Apparently I’m an idiot for taking advice from random Reddit people, but they just straight up don’t send orders. They update the site to stay relevant with current trends, but it’s a scam site. At least my lesson wasn’t as expensive as it could be.
Used to be a great site and my go-to for nootropics. Sometime recently, as of October/November 2025, they stopped processing all orders and have stopped communicating with customers.I noticed something was wrong when I tried to send payment to them via Zelle, and the transaction was flagged multiple times as malicuous. Upon further investigation, numerous people have commented that they have paid hundreds of dollars recently and never received a shipment notification, and that their support e-mail is no longer responding to e-mails.DO NOT send them your money or crypto. Although their site is still accepting payments and the domain is up, the site is effectively dead. I have since switched over to Umbrella which is a fair bit more expensive, but is a much more accountable and reliable site as they don't rely on Zelle, cashapp, or other non-accountable forms of payment where you have zero recourse.
Ive been ordering from them for years… I have recommended probably six other people to them who have also purchased from them multiple times. There’s no telling how many thousands of dollars I have brought them in the last 2 to 3 years… however, all that has changed. I recently placed an order and paid it… then I realized I needed to get some other stuff so I placed a second order that same day… I sent them two payments in one day. Hundreds of dollars… sent through cash app… Basically, if they don’t honor your purchase, you have no recourse. You can’t get a refund or anything like that because you’re basically sending money to a friend and trusting them… well they broke that trust. They did not send this order out. It’s been over a week and it’s still on hold. The most frustrating part is that I have reached out to them about five or six different times through different means trying to get an answer. Their website says that they respond within 24 hours, but they have not responded to a single email of mine. I have emailed them from multiple email addresses, always referencing my order number, I have replied to some of their old emails (order confirmation emails) I have even tried submitting a ticket to their website… they have not responded one time. My 160 bucks is gone, they never shipped the product out, and it has caused me to mess up a research cycle that I have been building up for a month… I would understand if they were just out of stock or backed up or something, but it’s the lack of communication that troubles me so much… they simply refuse to acknowledge the email… so at this point, they’ve left me no choice. If anyone else is having an issue like this with them, here’s what I suggest you do… This will get their attention…. Report them as fraudulent to both cash app and Zelle… they get a lot of orders through those channels. I don’t really want to do this… But they’ve left me no choice. They have stolen from me and they are not making it right. They are ignoring me so they have committed fraud…. You can email Cash app and tell them. you can also email Zelle… Both companies will freeze their account and they will not be able to take payments this way anymore… It’s sad that a company like this would force a longtime customer to do something so drastic… But they don’t seem to realize that the power really is in the consumers hand… I may never see my money again… But there’s no telling how many orders are being processed through those two channels right now and both cash app and Zelle will freeze all of it if they are being dishonest. In the meantime, there are plenty of other suppliers that ship these products out if your research gets backed up because of these people… I am going to give them 24 more hours before I report them as fraud. I’ve already waited over a week… But I’m telling everybody here right now, if nootropic source does this to you, there is your remedy… You probably won’t get your money back but at least they won’t be able to rip anybody else off.
I placed two orders on 13 November and paid immediately in Litecoin. Both orders have been stuck on “Processing” ever since. No updates, no shipping notice, nothing.I sent multiple emails to customer support, including through their recommended “Cryptocurrency Error” channel. Not a single reply. Not even an automated acknowledgment.Their website says orders ship Monday–Friday and that crypto orders must be confirmed by 2–3pm EST — fine. But it’s now been weeks, and they clearly don’t honor their own timelines or bother replying to customers who already paid.Right now, this feels like a black hole:They take your money and then disappear.Until they fix their customer service and actually ship paid orders, I wouldn’t recommend buying from them. There are other suppliers who at least respond when you reach out.
