I had stored roughly 150-250 Gb of files with this company. I started downloading them on the 6th of January, and I still don't have all of my files onthe 21st of February! Don't store any files with Nord as you might never get it back!

Unfortunatly no MacOS version for NordLocker. Feels outdated, but they seem to work on a solution.

Terrible, terrible system. Claimed to be usable for MacOS - but NordLocker support told me they discontinued quite a while ago with the support for MacOS. The cloud storage is extremely disfunctional. (re)organizing folders or selecting/moving multiple files is not even possible. NordLocker support confirmed these big flaws. They addressed the issue to ’the internal team’ which they will contact me asap.The fact that NordLocker stopped MacOS support and the cloud system is such a ripoff, tells me its a dying star. For cloud storage you should consider something else.[Edit 24 dec: Never heard anything back from NordLocker.][Edit 31 dec: NordLocker contacted me by email/ticket that they still need time to find a solution. [Edit 18th jan: customer support reached out again, providing me a solution that I can accept. They said their working on updates in the future. Took some time, but eventually they get back to you and do take your concerns seriously. Thats a plus. From 1 star to 3.

Poor app, poor experience,Nord can do better

Firstly, Nord as a company is not the worst. NordVPN has been good and I've used it for years. But NordLocker is a terrible product. The app is completely useless, you can't queue up files for upload or download and it frequently logs you out. I understand that upload speeds are slower with encrypted services but it's so slow and with the frequent logouts it's literally impossible to upload anything via the app. Download isn't as bad, but because the app is so poor, it's extremely difficult to do via mobile. I usually just log in to the website directly. The upload and download speeds via the website are unfortunately just as bad.Neither channel allows you to queue up folders to upload and be notified if some of the files fail. Nope, you have to click into every folder, figure out where it failed, and start all over again manually. I have only used a fraction of my allowed space because I just don't have the time to spend days manually uploading every single file I want from my device. I've also set a reminder to myself a few months before my subscription expires, because I assume it will take weeks to download my files and move them to another service. In short - definitely avoid this service unless maybe you have just a few small files to store. Terrible app terrible service. slow, unreliable and the app sometimes just won't even log in. then forget about trying to download or upload more than one file a day.

Painfully slow

Painfully slow, file renaming, changing spaces to underscores, windows desktop client with bare minimum functionality, moved from lockers into cloud without notice. Well a 0.

Awful software changes and no refund

I used NordLocker for local locker for the last 4 years.They have now removed that feature and forces people to the cloud.Because of this I decided not to use the NordLocker product anymore.However I had an expired debit card on my account that they charged.It went through and when I contacted support to get refund.They said im not eligible for refund and they are keeping my 75 usd.This is despite i contacted them the same day they charged my debit card. They also claim that I received an renewal notice even though there is no such email in my inbox.I asked for more details like what email sent it and what time and they did not provide this information.All other emails from Nord including marketing ones exist in my inbox and is not filtered as spam.My only choice now is go via my bank and issue an chargeback.This review is based on this experience alone and have changed my entire view of Nord as a company.I will from now on advocate against all Nord products for friends and family.Edit Support ID: #18619721Feel free to check why support didnt answer my last question even tho they said they will look into it.Edit 2:Nordlocker admitted it was their fault. They never sent a renewal email.But this happen after month of waiting for my bank to issue chargeback.I highly doubt if i didnt write this review and issue a chargeback with bank I would get anything back.

This used to be a very reliable piece of software

This used to be a very simple, intuitive, quick, and effective tool for storing encrypted files on my PC.That was so four years ago. Then they messed with it and forced updates on you that were not wanted.It became REALLY slow to the point I'd had enough and simply stuck all my files on an encrypted flash drive. I have the full Nord suite on my PC, so I revisited Nordlocker today to see if it had improved.It would not open, and I was greeted by a message informing that my version was no longer supported and that it needed to be uninstalled in order that a new version could be installed. Having done as required, I couldn't access my old files. To add to that, apparently, everything will now be stored on the cloud.I won't use it. I've stopped trusting it. I uninstalled it. An encrypted flash drive is easier, simpler, and more reliable, and you can stick it in the safe for extra security.

Garbage applications

Garbage applications, way better ones out there, Nord locker is totally broken and the android VPN is useless, VPN only works on my MS laptop over WiFi, I have constant issues with a wired connection on desktop. I wish I could post screenshots of the apps breaking, especially locker. No need to respond with your generic message nord, I've wasted enough time with your customer services ineffective solutions.
