Concerns about safety and communication

The food was decent, but I raised concerns about the delivery system. The tracking link reveals the delivery driver's personal address along with their route, which poses a security risk and is a breach of privacy since my address is visible to others. I was told there was no way to fix this issue and that there were no plans for improvement. This week, due to holiday closures, my order, which I thought was placed before the cutoff, did not arrive, even though the system allowed me to schedule it for delivery on the 28th, as confirmed by email.

Consider alternatives to the insurance

Consider skipping the insurance. I've been receiving meals for a while, and while the quality is generally good, I prefer the other meat options over the chicken. The delivery has been problematic, with missing items and incorrect orders. My last shipment never arrived, even though I was informed it did. I decided to cancel the service. I thought having insurance would mean I could get a refund, but instead, I was given credit, which feels a bit misleading.

Concerns about delivery privacy and order issues

The food was acceptable, but I raised issues regarding the delivery system. When they send out a link, it displays the delivery driver's personal address along with every stop on their route. This raises concerns about someone potentially stopping at those addresses to collect the package, which is also a violation of personal privacy since my home address is visible to other users. I was informed over the phone that there was no solution to this issue, and realistically, no plans for improvement. This week, due to their holiday closures, the order I believed I had placed before the cutoff simply did not arrive, despite their system allowing me to schedule it for delivery on the 28th, which was confirmed via email.

Caution with subscription model

Caution is advised as I've noticed others have raised issues about the subscription model, which leads to potentially endless repeat orders. The fine print mentions a subscription offer, but it should be an opt-in rather than an opt-out. Since creating my account, I assumed 'subscription' referred to my account rather than repeated orders without any notification. I learned this the hard way, ending up with food far beyond our needs. Trying to get a credit was futile as they just referred to the fine print. Additionally, I received a text about a delivery on a Friday, while my confirmed day was the following Monday. We returned home Monday to find a truck ready to deliver. I'm concerned about the safety of their cold chain, as it seemed my order had been in the truck for three days. I seek compensation for this mix-up instead of just advice to check the fine print.

Good meals with room for improvement

The food is tasty and flavorful, and the portion sizes are great (we order Large for lunch and XL for dinner). However, the boxes are quite heavy, and there are too many items, leading to damaged packaging. Additionally, the cooling gel has leaked in every delivery, creating a mess that is frustrating to clean up. I've also noticed that many meals are high in sodium, with some containing nearly the entire recommended daily intake, which limits our options. It would be beneficial to offer single-serve proteins, like grilled chicken pieces, as side options for salads or sandwiches. Including gluten-free salad dressing packets would also be a great addition. This is just a wish list that could enhance the experience and provide more options for a gluten-free diet.

Choosing meals is essential

The meals are well-prepared and presented, but it's crucial to select your own meals each time. Relying on the service to choose for you, especially on an auto-delivery plan, can lead to unwanted surprises. I prefer low-carb meals, but when left to the service, I received options that were high in carbs. The risotto was particularly thick and heavy. I received an apology, but I still felt dissatisfied and had to discard some meals due to their high carb content. In discussions with the staff, I noted that keto foods are generally gluten-free, with few exceptions. I'll continue with the service for now, but with caution. As I recommend food choices to my clients, I cannot rely on a 'set and forget' approach. I hope for improvements soon.

Long-term customer feeling let down

As a long-term customer since 2021, I've made weekly orders and tried various food services, with this one usually being the best for fresh ingredients and tasty meals. However, it seems they have grown too large, leading to a decline in meal quality and taste. Now, I often receive meals with less than three days before their expiry date, and I'm limited to one delivery date per week, resulting in at most three usable dinners. The meals have also become inedible, with dry meat and mushy vegetables, making the expiry dates less relevant. I'm truly disappointed by their inability to maintain quality as they scaled.

Best local meal delivery option

I've tried all the local meal delivery services in the area, and this one stands out as the best. The meals are tasty, and the ingredients are clean. While not every meal is my favorite, I appreciate the variety and enjoy the ones I like.

Great meals but ordering issues

The meals are excellent, and the delivery is reliable. However, I often encounter problems with the ordering system, which could use some improvement.
