Our experience was solely with Margaret Dundas who is a Conveyancing Consultant with NPS. Margaret went above and beyond for my partner and me and at every stage of our leasehold flat purchase she kept things moving satisfactorily. Despite an incredibly high workload which was exacerbated by a some very trying and unforeseen circumastances on Margaret's firm's side she worked with us to keep us up to date and complete the purchase in exactly 4 months. Margaret made herself available via phone, email and text and every request and question from our side was answered. Margaret's tenured experience in the industry is incredibly valuable and she was able to pivot to cope with different situations throughout - nothing went overlooked especially with regards to our leasehold queries and we were content that there would be no surprises on move-in day. We are very grateful to Margaret (and Nicola) for their support and work in getting us into our first home. If she's still with NPS when we next come to buy a property, we'd have no hesitations in reaching out to her again. Thanks a mil Margaret!

worst experience with nicola phillips in my life. i would not even give her 1*.All started back in 2016 when she failed to pick up on errors in our Wills. When my husband died last year and his Will was needed for probate her negligence became apparent. It was extremely distressing for me and my family. I have had several people share their experiences with her with me .... all negative.
Had a very bad experience. There were lots of delays, some mistakes, but mostly there was really poor communication: once I couldn't get through for a week, even to leave a message, and had to contact the SRA to see if Nicola was still in business. Then 10 days before crucial due completion date I was charged last-minute extra fees, which doubled the estimate! Nicola's paralegal assistant in particular did pull out the stops in last week to try to get to completion, but the rest of the 8 months the delays and poor communication made a difficult move much more stressful, not feeling I could rely on my solicitor. Definitely not in line with the promises on the website! Sadly Nicola didn't seem aware of the issues with her performance.
Kevin was amazing from start to finish, he was very quick in getting back to us and communicated with us every step of the way.Only 1 issue we had was when Kevin was on leave, if I called or emailed for an update nobody got back to me after being told a few times they would - however as soon as Kevin was back he updated me straight away as to where we were in the process.
I was dreading this part of the selling process, what I had previously experienced was frustration, poor communication and a lack of care with previous house selling ang buying. Thank goodness that working with Kevin changed all that. The communication was great and the process was really smooth and guided well. I would absolutely work with NPS again and would happily recommend to others.

Helpful, professional, incredibly efficient and all communication received in super quick time. It is a shame that all conveyancers do not work in the same manner! Thank you so very much.
I wish I could review NPS' services but sadly, I never even got there. After a first trip where it turned out Nicola was not in the office (so waste of time, petrol and parking charge), I was promised a call the day after to re-schedule a meeting but never heard from anyone. Not a great way to do business and will now look at competitors.
