I have been feeding my cat Nutriment for about 5 to 6 years. Initially, everything was satisfactory; I rarely encountered issues, and when I did, they were promptly addressed. However, after the company was acquired by a private equity firm in 2022, I began to notice changes, although I initially dismissed them. Prices started to rise consistently, making each purchase a bit more expensive. By 2024, the company began restructuring and acquiring additional brands, and that’s when the decline became apparent. Now, I frequently face problems such as food arriving defrosted, ongoing delays, and a noticeable drop in food quality, including receiving items from questionable batches. Customer service has also deteriorated, making it challenging to resolve these issues. The most concerning aspect is their strategy of acquiring alternative options, which limits my choices for cat food. If you are checking reviews that are a year or two old, be aware that they do not reflect the current state of the company. In summary, what was once a great product is now leading me to seek out alternatives that aren’t affiliated with them.
Fantastic service overall. The ordering process was simple, delivery was quick, and everything arrived well-packaged in a sturdy box with no damage. I had a special request regarding food, and it was followed perfectly. My dog is very happy. Thank you!
My cat enjoys the food. Deliveries are always prompt. I've had some issues with box contents previously, but none recently. A suggestion would be to use a tub with a central divider for easier portioning, as defrosting the entire tub means it could spoil before my cat finishes it.
I would rate it 0/5 if I could. The order was placed on the 9th, and their website states dispatch would occur the next working day for delivery the following day if ordered after 1pm. However, it was not dispatched until the 16th, and I still haven't received it. I've sent multiple unanswered emails to customer support and was promised a call back that never happened. Terrible delivery and customer service.
I've been feeding my cats this food for years! The product and service are exceptional. Any questions I've had were answered promptly and politely. The product is well-packaged. My only minor issue is the use of polystyrene for delivery, but I understand it's necessary for a frozen product shipped within 24 hours.
