We were happy customers with ManyPets for years, but they got bought out by Odie and it has been a terrible experience from day 1. When our plan was taken over by Odie, we were told we would be grandfathered in for claims made under ManyPets so that claims going forward that were covered by ManyPets would not be considered pre-existing conditions. What a joke. I would give Odie 0 stars if I could.

They have dragged our first 2 claims for emergency visits for an injury incurred in December 2026 out for months (it is now March with no resolution), asking for documentation I have already submitted multiple times. I have left 3 voicemails and multiple emails and the only response was an autoreply telling me they can't process our claims without records from BEFORE WE ADOPTED THE DOG in 2021. Their auto-reply emails say they return calls within 2-4 business days and emails within 5 business days. This is a total lie. They have no problem taking our premiums every month, but can't process our claims in a timely manner.

When we got our new dog I shopped and went with many pets and they were easy to work with paid claims timely no issues. Now odie has merged with many pets so the it's been horrible. Made a claim for a normal well visit with shots and the heartworm test and heartworm medication. Sent in the claim and got crickets no response. So called and spoke with someone they are now requesting all the vet info from before we adopted her. We found the records from where we adopted her from the rescue when she was 7mos old. Still no action on the claim so called again they said they needed more information from the rescue and they would call them. We asked to speak to a supervisor on 2 separate calls was told they were not available and would call us back and never did. We have filed a complaint with the attorney general. Do not get insurance with this company!!!

Out renewal they raised me by $42 a month that's insane! My monthly bill was 40 and now they raised me to $82.
Next year they will probably raise me to $400

Frustrating Experience with Transition and Claims

I have had pet insurance for my entire pet's life through the provider. When they moved operations to another country, I was assured of a “seamless transition” to a new service. However, after the switch, the new service collected my premiums for four months without any updates or decisions regarding a claim for my pet's routine allergy treatment. These treatments are standard and have been administered consistently throughout my pet's insured life. After four months of no communication, the claim was denied, and I was informed that allergy treatments would not be covered. This was in direct contradiction to the assurances I received about continuity of coverage. Due to this misleading information and poor treatment, I decided to cancel my policy. During this entire process, the new service provided inadequate customer support: calls were never answered, and my numerous inquiries went unanswered. I feel misled and unfairly treated, having paid premiums without any good faith effort to handle my claim. I am filing this complaint to document my experience and seek accountability for how this transition and claim were managed.

Experience declined after acquisition.

Initially, my experience was positive, but everything changed after the acquisition. I submitted a claim in October 2023 and spoke with a representative who seemed willing to help. However, things took a turn when she requested my pet’s health history. I reached out to my vet multiple times for the records, but was told the information was 'not sufficient' without clear instructions on what was missing. At one point, the company claimed they couldn't reach the veterinary clinic, which was frustrating since I had no trouble contacting them. Despite my efforts, there was no significant progress, and eventually, they stopped responding. After several follow-ups, I was met with silence. When I requested to escalate my claim, I still received no response. I even mentioned reporting the issue due to their lack of communication—yet still heard nothing back. Months have passed, and my claim remains unapproved and unacknowledged. They continue to charge my monthly premium for a service I am not receiving. Being ignored while paying for insurance is unacceptable. Based on my experience and recent reviews, slow claims processing and unresponsive support seem to be ongoing problems since the acquisition. I strongly advise anyone considering this insurance to carefully review recent customer feedback.

Desperate for a response.

As a pet owner, I never thought I would find myself in this situation. My dog is family, and when she injured her tail needing surgery, I rushed her in and paid for her care upfront, trusting that my insurance would reimburse me promptly. Weeks later, I'm still waiting for that claim to be paid back. My attempts to reach out have only resulted in messages saying, 'wait times are longer than usual.' Meanwhile, my dog's injury became infected, and she required another surgery—again, I paid out of pocket because I couldn't let her suffer. I'm genuinely worried, not only for her recovery but for what comes next. My savings are depleted, and I can't afford another vet bill without help. Time is against my dog—she needs follow-up care, and without reimbursement, I'm unsure how to provide it. I pay for insurance to be a responsible owner, ensuring my dog gets the care she needs. It's heartbreaking and frightening to think I may not be able to help her because my insurance is failing to deliver. I truly hope no one else experiences this situation. Please, I need the company to uphold its commitment for my dog's health.

Legitimate claims filed, still no response.

I filed legitimate claims months ago and am still waiting for them to be reviewed and paid out. Customer service inquiries yield only generic responses indicating they are backlogged. I regret my decision to choose this service for pet insurance.
